I had a quick lunch at Yumcha with a friend, and he paid for it. I ordered har gow, lumpia saus tiram, siu mai ayam, and nasi goreng ikan asin. The dimsums were good, but the nasi goreng needed stronger taste. The services were quick and responsive. The dining area was, however, a bit tight, and our table was too close to the crowded corridor of the mall.

Coming back for dinner with friends on 11 November, we ordered various foods, as seen in pictures, and reordered hakau and lumpia saus tiram. Of all those foods, my concern was with cakwe udang and beef steak. They were both rather hard. The rest of the foods were good. We spent 884.5k for four people.

We used to always go to either Jakbar or Jakut to get a good taste of chinese food, but now we have it in Citos. We’ve been a regular here for years now. At first we thought that this resto is just another chinese dim sum, or other smal bite-sized steamed cuisine like it’s name “Yum Cha”. But it turned out their menu is quite varying. We fell in love with their Buncis Singapore, Xiao Long Bao, Nasi Goreng Yang Chow, all noodle bowls and the never missed order Kwetiaw Siram Sapi that is so heavenly good with very tender beef slices.
