A Delightful Morning Experience at Yumcha
Review:
I have always found myself drawn to Yumcha their delectable porridge. What sets this place apart is not just the quality of their food, but also their early opening hours. Located in Citos, I appreciate the fact that they open their doors bright and early in the morning. As I arrive, I am greeted by an empty parking area, which is a rare sight in Jakarta. This adds to the overall tranquility of the experience.
Stepping inside, I am met with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant itself is still calm and peaceful, allowing me to enjoy my breakfast in a relaxed setting. The staff members are friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience is pleasant from start to finish.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - their porridge. Without a doubt, it is the highlight of my visits. The porridge is cooked to perfection, with a creamy texture that is both comforting and satisfying. Each spoonful is bursting with flavor, leaving me craving for more. Whether you prefer a classic chicken porridge or a more adventurous seafood variation, Yumcha has got you covered. They offer a wide range of toppings and condiments, allowing you to customize your porridge to your liking.
But it's not just the porridge that impresses me. Every dish I have tried at Yumcha has been a delight. From their flavorful side dishes to their refreshing beverages, the attention to detail and quality of ingredients shine through in every bite.
In conclusion, Yumcha is a hidden gem for breakfast lovers. The early opening hours, serene ambiance, and mouthwatering porridge make it a must-visit spot in Citos. Whether you're looking for a peaceful start to your day or simply craving a delicious bowl of porridge, this restaurant is sure to leave...
Read moreI had a quick lunch at Yumcha with a friend, and he paid for it. I ordered har gow, lumpia saus tiram, siu mai ayam, and nasi goreng ikan asin. The dimsums were good, but the nasi goreng needed stronger taste. The services were quick and responsive. The dining area was, however, a bit tight, and our table was too close to the crowded corridor of the mall.
Coming back for dinner with friends on 11 November, we ordered various foods, as seen in pictures, and reordered hakau and lumpia saus tiram. Of all those foods, my concern was with cakwe udang and beef steak. They were both rather hard. The rest of the foods were good. We spent 884.5k for four people.
Coming back again for a late breakfast, I ordered bubur ayam with telur pitan and siu mai ayam udang. The bubur was tasty with lots of slices of chicken, telur pitan, and cakwe. The portion should have been enough for a...
Read moreYou know, forget what other people said, to us, this place is our favorite chinese food pick in Citos. We used to always go to either Jakbar or Jakut to get a good taste of chinese food, but now we have it in Citos. We’ve been a regular here for years now. At first we thought that this resto is just another chinese dim sum, or other smal bite-sized steamed cuisine like it’s name “Yum Cha”. But it turned out their menu is quite varying. We fell in love with their Buncis Singapore, Xiao Long Bao, Nasi Goreng Yang Chow, all noodle bowls and the never missed order Kwetiaw Siram Sapi that is so heavenly good with very tender beef slices. My kids fave dessert is the mango sago and egg tart. My fave drink here is their hongkong milk tea,...
