The Coffee Mine — Restaurant in Jakarta

I have read previous reviews said employee were rude. But when i came there employee quite nice actually. Even though they don't smile or anything pleasant, but they answer question clearly and give some advices about the coffee i was confused with. Btw coffee taste is so so. Didn't feel the coffee at all mostly just the sweet but still ok. The coffee don't make me up all night even though i drink their coffee at 6 to 7 pm. I came home at 9pm and just sleep not long after. I tried their simple pastry and taste allright. They heat the pastry first which is good. There are nothing special about the food but the place is just cozy. Like what other people have mentioned in the previous review, you can see the busy road of cikini station through this coffee shop. Even though the building looked a bit small from the outside, it's actually pretty wide inside. Lots of table option smoking or non smoking area in 1st floor and non smoking area in 2nd floor. At some moment this place can be a bit crowd but some moment can be nice quiet. And I have to say they don't really have a good taste of music so you probably want to bring your own headphone. The Coffee Mine merupakan coffee shop yang berada di seberang Stasiun Cikini. Lokasinya berada di dalam area kementrian ESDM dan bisa diakses dari gedung pintu bagian depan maupum belakang.

Seating areanya terdiri dari 2 lantai dan tersedia area indoor, semi outdoor maupun outdoor. Untuk pembayarannya bisa menggunakan debit, QRIS, cash maupun credit card tanpa minimum payment.

Saya berkunjung bersama teman yang menggunakan voucher kolektif. Katanya, tidak bisa digunakan lebih dari 1 voucher dalam 1 bill.

Sedangkan buat saya sendiri, awalnya saya mau payment pakai credit card karena nggak bawa debit card dan nggak isi QRIS. Saya pesan beef bowl dan 1 ice americano. Katanya total 80 ribu dan saya nggak dikasih bill. Akhirnya saya payment pakai cash.

Terus pas saya cek di menu Pergi Kuliner yang baru diupdate kurang dari sebulan lalu, harga beef bowlnya 49 ribu + ice americano 30 ribu. Gimana pesanan saya bisa jadi 80 ribu? Seribunya tax & service gitu? Nominalnya agak aneh.

Kayaknya memang harus beneran merhatiin harga menunya sebelum mesen dan kalau nggak ada bill mendingan minta buat cek rincian.

Mexican Nachos (IDR 25k)

Ini pesenan teman yang saya icip. Buat harga 25 ribu, ini termasuk worth. Nachosnya renyah dengan daging cincang yang manis gurih. Mayonaissenya agak asam dan gurih.

French Fries (IDR 25k)

Ini juga pesanan teman yang saya icip. Kentang gorengnya enak. Teksturnya empuk dan luarnya renyah tapi nggak alot. Mayonaissenya terasa asam segar.

Honey Glazed Beef Bowl

Buat telurnya bisa pilih matang atau setengah matang. Saya pilih yang setengah matang dan rasanya enak.

Bagian putihnya terasa lembut dan melted. Bagian egg yolknya juga nggak berbau amis sama sekali. Sepertinya pakai telur omega.

Buat saladnya segar dan pakai mayo rasa bawang putih. Saya suka rasa mayo bawang putihnya.

Buat sapinya pakai saus yang rasanya strong hingga meninggalkan after taste. Rasanya agak manis sekaligus gurih. Sapinya cukuo empuk tapi saya merasa terganggu dengan aroma sapi yang terlalu tajam. Namun nasinya pulen dan enak.

Ice Americano (IDR 30k)

Saya pesan americano dan request tanpa gula. Kopinya strong dan rasanya cenderung asam.

I'm extremely satisfied with my experience at The Coffee Mine, Jakarta Pusat. This cafe has a cozy and modern atmosphere, with minimalist yet elegant decor, as well as friendly and efficient service. I ordered the Iced English Breakfast and it was delicious, with a strong and rich tea flavor and a hint of sweetness. The prices here are also reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the coffee and service.
