Surya Yudha Rest Area (SYRA) — Restaurant in Java

I’m sorry that I could only give 2 stars. The food was excellent, I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and pleasant, and the staff were very kind.

However, there were some issues with the service that I hope can be improved. The waiter informed us that the food would be served in 25 minutes, but it actually arrived after about 40 minutes or more. Additionally, the dishes were served one by one instead of two or three at a time. This made the dining experience feel slower than expected. I also noticed that several dishes were ready in the kitchen, so perhaps bringing multiple plates at once could help speed up service and make guests happier.

I would like to give my compliments to the chef 5 stars for the delicious food. The cashier and the rest of the staff also deserve 5 stars. For the waiter’s service, I would rate it 1.5 stars, but I believe with some adjustments, it could greatly improve.

Came here because my friend told me that there's a new restaurant that looks fancy but affordable. And yeeep! That's true, the waiters are so friendly, it didn't take a look to got our meals. This place is so clean and the atmosphere super fine. Just a few meters from here we can rent a homestay or cabin, and the coolest things is you can get voucher to eat at SYRA if you stay at one of the cabin/homestay here, you can also ask them to find those homestay/cabin + give you many advice about destinations you'd like when...

surprisingly makanannya enak dan harganya terjangkau parah. aku dua hari berturut-turut lunch disini setelah wisata keliling dieng. menu yg aku order selama dua hari: kwetiau goreng, mie goreng, nasi goreng hongkong, nasi goreng spesial, sop buntut, sop iga, es teh manis, jahe anget, teh tawar panas, air mineral, crispy banana with caramel sauce (my fam's favorite), dan semuanya enak, but for me sopnya sedikit kurang asin. jahe angetnya boleh dicoba karena homemade bukan bubuk instant. parkirannya juga luas banget, bisa menampung beberapa bis sekaligus. pelayanannya juga sangat baik dan ramah banget. waiter & waitress nya juga cakep-cakep hehe. look restonya (di dalam) tidak begitu modern dan ya terlihat sepeti resto-resto rest area spbu tol trans jawa, tapi tempatnya bersih, toilet dan musholanya juga bersih. bakal lebih seru kalo look restonya di modernisasi lagi. oh and menu nya juga tidak begitu banyak but rasanya oke banget. hari pertama aku cuma nunggu sekitar 5-15menit doang sampe makanannya dateng. hari kedua nunggu sekitar 15menitan sampe dikasih menu dan nunggu 1jam lebih sampe makanan aku datang karena restonya rame. pelayanannya bagus puol sampe waitressnya maaf berkali-kali karena pesanan aku lama banget (tbh i don't mind karena aku tau kondisi resto juga lagi rame dan pasti sistemnya first in first out). saran: mungkin kalo lagi high season kyk liburan sekolah atau weekend bisa tambah karyawan biar ga keteteran. overall aku suka, bakal balik lagi & repeat order...
