During our family trip to Bali, we went for a search of an authentic local restaurant. Then we found this place, which is near to Theertha Ganga, who serves Indian food too. Very limited restaurants in this area serves Indian food !! My son tried Indian delicacies and it was yummy n pocket friendly too !! The ambiance is simple yet clean and good,and we had our best local food here In our entire week's trip, We had THE BEST Nasi Goreng here. The pricing of local food also very good. The best service we had many smiling faces around us here. Didnt expect this area of Bali to be vegetarian friendly, but we were surprised this restaurant served few vegetarian indian options. Food was good (chapati not very indian style, but its nice and does the job!) but servings were (very) small and food was very expensive for the serving size. Premium restaurants in main Ubud area are cheaper. After we got inside at Tirtagangga, we realized there were 2 very nice restaurants (Isen and tirta ayu) inside with a good view serving much wider variety of indian and western vegetarian options at about 30-40% lower price. The reason we tried this restaurant was because they mentioned Indian food and the ratings were good. We didn’t expect much though, but the food served to us was no where close to Indian cuisine. I visited this place on June 11th. We ordered Aloo sabzi and roti, Chicken biryani (which was the worst) and Omelette for our kid, the quantity was 1/4th of what you expect of the price. They charged us IDR 280000. Was a total disappointment in terms of taste and also the quantity. Will not recommend this place for Indian food. They have no idea about indian food.
