Overall a 2.5 stars out of 5 stars. The prices are 2x - 3x what other restaurants charge and my party of just 2 people had a 21% service charge automatically put in. I would never visit again or recommend.

The restaurant itself is very nice and beautifully decorated. There are fish ponds all around with little sections of seating providing everyone with a great view into the rice fields. There are nice decorations put up to take photos at. This is probably where the positive aspects of the restaurant end.

The service was lacking and a bit rude compared to many other places in Bali. After the waitress led us to our table, she stood there waiting patiently for us to look through the menu. I asked her how big the portions were after seeing the price and made a hand gesture so she could respond if it was bigger or smaller. She only said, "No, only 1 person". I asked again with my hands in a circle to see if it's a certain size and she again only responds "for 1 person only". Both times the answer was a bit stern and not inviting. I usually don't care about how people respond or talk but after being in Bali and being treated with utmost respect from most places, this kind of irked me.

When the food came out, it was actually a little bit larger than I expected. Though the price per dish was higher than other restaurants, they also gave a tad bit more so I feel it was not too bad. We got the Mee Goreng, stir fried noodles with chicken. The food was nothing special but also not bad. It was just just...food.

I guess to sum it up, it's not exactly a tourist trap but I don't think locals...

I'm sorry I have bad experiance here. This restaurant is one of few restaurant around turta gangga garden. The place are nice. I enjoy it. I ho there with my family. But we need to wait one and half hour for my food. After 3 times asking. Then we ask the waitress, man (maybe the supervisor), why it take so long. He not explain me anything. Just keep talking that he already handle many kind of customer. His react make us feel that we are bad customer. We just ask, even our voice are not high like angry people. Then something not polite happen. Exactly after we "stop eating", he (same person) take all empty plate from the table. At that time actually my plate still on my hand. I angry, I said why you do that. Wet not finish yet. He keep talking. It's not polite and not acceptable. This experiance was embarased me. I come with my family also my mother in law. Terrible food: stale, bland. The view and location is spectacular. Just beware, the prices on the menu don't include an additional 21% fee!

The orders (some recommended dishes for the restaurant, including a whole duck) were prepared pretty quickly. However, the rice was stale;cold and the rest overcooked;bland. A waitress said that the kitchen already prepares many dishes in the morning, at around 8:30am.

The additional 21% fee combines a service fee and tax. Only agreed to pay on condition that the service fee was removed from the bill. Staff was friendly enough to oblige.
