I would not recommended that hotel. We got the room next to the beach. One of them was terrible. We could hear everything the neighbors on top was doing and saying. The door could barely close. And was next to the main acces to the beach. When we arrived we received no explanation on the hotel (ex : breakfast, where to rent snorkeling equipment, where to get towel for the beach/swimming pool,...) they just asked us to pay and gave us the key. When we tried to take a shower, their was not hot water, we went to the reception and they told us we had to leave the water running for 15min for the hot water to come. After the 15min we had hot water but the pressure was really low. After the first night, they came to clean the room, I don't think they did anything expect remake the bed. They took our towel but only gave one. The bottle of water was not refilled neither. But the worth was they didnt put a spare toilet paper roll in the room, at night we were out of toilet paper so we went to the reception to get some that's when we learned that the reception close around 9pm... The snorkeling equipment is really bad and the restaurant not really good, we got food poisoning. Also one day, on the bar on top of the reception there was a DJ. The music was crazy loud. I don't mind some music but this is a home, it need to be quiet. We even tried to go get a drink to enjoy the view and the music but it was so loud we had to leave. The only good thing was the breakfast which is very good. Also, don't try the manicure pedicure which is...

Lovely place. We had our food in it's restaurant. The seating is very nicely done. The table cover was well laid. You can enjoy your food and drink looking at the sea as the tide lashes down the beach. The service staff's are very courteous and truly exibit Balinese culture and Hospitality. The food was very tasty and worth for the price. We had a great experience at Amed Cafe. (February 2019)
I'm back again at Amed Cafe today ( 28 th August 2019). Had a great time. It's tempting to visit here whenever I visit Bali. The property is just brilliant and they are operating professionally.
Both above narratives were on Amed Cafe & Restaurant. Now I would talk about the Hotel Kebun Wayan. It's an elegant property synchronized with the nature. The architectural splendid, environmental friendly atmosphere, sea facing view and specious rooms makes Hotel Kebun Wayan stand apart. The staffs are so courteous and smiling faces awaits to greet you offering true Balinese Hospitality.
I would recommend this property for your stay while at Amed, Bali.

Read moreI stayed here five nights and had an overall pleasant stay. The staff is super nice.||I stayed in two different rooms. My first room was a tiny, narrow 2-bed-room with a bathroom with no warm water. Then I realized that other guests payed less for a much bigger room and asked at the reception for another room. ||To move to another room was no problem at all, so I moved into a spacious doubleroom with beautiful carved doors and a huge veranda! And a proper bathroom with hot water! For almost the same room rate! It was so much more relaxing!||The first room wasn't worth the room rate, the second room was good value for money. I highly recommend to ask for another room, if you are not satisfied.||The included breakfast was good. Also I liked the sunbeds at the beach and the free water refill. ||The pricing for food and drinks at the hotel is more of a high-range, so I didn't bother to eat at the hotel. Down the street there are enough Warungs with good food for small money.||Also the hotel spa is fairly high priced, so I didn't test this. ||All in all I enjoyed my time at Amed Café and would've liked to stay longer. I will be...
