Ciao Pizzeria Candidasa — Restaurant in Kecamatan Karangasem

We were nervous when we saw where the restaurant was - not that it looked anything but "rustic" as another reviewer mentioned- it's just off the main road and I can't imagine it gets overly busy. I'm pregnant so am usually looking for where looks busy - as it usually equates to safe/clean/food turn over...

But my partner is coeliac (celiac) so we pushed on... I also have a preference for vegetarian - so when the friendly staff (with good English too) asked us for our order we thought, let's just try and if the food looks iffy when it comes we'll just pay and say we had a big breakfast...

My partner ordered Gluten Free Penne Pesto - I had the regular pesto spaghetti and out 8 year old had a garlic pizza - plus we ordered Mango & Pineapple juice and a couple of other soft drinks... ALL WAS SERVED PROMPTLY AND WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!

We took down their Whatsapp number to organise free delivery to our beach front accommodation for tomorrow. For us thats huge as we usually love spreading around our food adventures.

Very very medicore food at double prices. Vegetarian pizza for some reason comes with a lot of pineapple and CORN, costs 105K and is very mediocre, probably the worst I have tried in Bali, because everything in bali usually tastes great. Not salted at all, super dull taste, sides were burned. Garlic bread - same story, 2 out of 5. Chicken nuggets 3 out of 5, passable. Came with nothing, no sauce. Yon of filler, dont feel any chicken there. Generally, this is another probably european owned overpriced place with inferior food. What i learned in bali, is that if you go to more expensive restaurant, more often than not, food is worse and not better. Go figure. Stuff was very friendly and nice 5 out of 5. Atmosphere also pretty nice. But it diesnt help much when a 4 cheese basic pizza is 170K and it tastes terrible and...

The Best Italian Restaurant in Candidasa!

We visited this gem of a restaurant twice with our family and were thoroughly impressed each time. The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic Italian flavors that delighted our taste buds. The service is good and the staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to accommodate our needs.
