Watergarden Kafe — Restaurant in Kecamatan Karangasem

Very disappointing dishes. Ordered grilled fish and it turned out to be grilled tuna steak with very weird taste.

---Updated on 16th May --- Since the owner of the restaurant asked, i will post my reply here: I did feedback to your staff that i am disappointed at your fish. I finished all of my food because IT IS EXPENSIVE and I was really hungry (which made me even more disappointed that after such long waiting time, the food turned out to be a disaster, and we were the only two customers in the restaurant at that time!). I really don't like your attitude of accusing customers for "not saying anything to your staff after eating all of my food". So I will change the review to one star. If there is zero star, i will definitely give a zero star review. I swear that I did not receive any feedback form after my meal.

I pity the owner of this restaurant that they offered such awful dishes, yet the owner does not reflect on why their business is so bad (we were the only two customers in the restaurant for two hours at dinner time), and in return, accuses the customers for leaving...

We did not have a room here, and we only visited the Kafe, one evening for dinner. The service was friendly and warm, and there was a great selection of food and drinks on the menu. There is also a very good kids menu too!! There was a bit of a wait for the food, but we were provided with some lovely breads to snack on while we were waiting, and the food was well worth the wait!!! It was fresh and tasty, and you could tell that it was freshly prepared and cooked. The restaurant was a lovely layout and was clean and tidy l. However, it did lack air conditioning. Watergarden Cafe is a place not to be missed when staying in Candidasa. Kevin the owner with his team led by Sudi and Budi and of course Chef back of house know their business. Fridays is steak night and as the man next to me said None better in Bali and the price is a bonus I certainly agree. The normal menu is extensive and well priced also with quality not being forgotten. The design of the establishment has a calming relaxing affect and even when busy serving does not seem to take long.
