New Queen Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kecamatan Karangasem

Visit this place and being totally ignored by the waiters and waitresses, must be because we are local people. When we arrived (4 of us) they said all seat almost full so they only gave us very ugly table outside, 2 stone-made bench with 2 plastic chairs like we used to get in small warung. Then we saw some more foreigners come and they can provide a proper seating inside. We saw 2 groups foreigners and they all seated properly. When we want to order and we call them, they ignoring us but the new incoming foreigner who just get the seat already get their menu. We still try to think possitively and then decided to leave cause after a couple of try to call them, the still ignoring us. Hoping that they respect all people equally as we are all customers. Even when covid era, locals are the only supporting customers...

The staff here is very friendly, though they could do a little bit of a better job at serving the food at the same time. The other people with who I was with received their food about 5 minutes before me, which isn’t horrible, but could improve.

We were there when there was no live band playing, hence why I left the stars empty for Atmosphere. While there was no live band, they played reggae, which was fitting as it was a reggae/bob marley themed restaurant.

Sorry we didn't rate it very high, the cocktail I had was horrible and the food was average. Response to venue - Yes, I did order the passionfruit mojito but didn't drink it all as I requested no sugar syrup and it was way too sweet (as discussed with the waiter). Attempted 2nd drink that wasn't sweet and the waiter then offered vodka lime and soda, but instead of a piece of lemon or lime it was filled with lemon juice (so it was not clear like a normal vodka drink), and I didn't finish that drink either.
