Amazing snorkling, but Beware of Dishonest Pricing

The snorkling itself was fantastic, and I have no complaints about the experience underwater. The coral was vibrant, marine life was abundant, and the guides were professional. However, the way the trip was handled leaves a lot to be desired.

Online, the price was advertised at 250k IDR, including lunch, towels, and water. When I went to make the reservation, I was informed that since I might be the only diver, the price would increase to 300k IDR. I accepted this, thinking it would be a private or more personalized trip.

However, upon arrival, there were 9 people on the boat—so much for the “private” trip I supposedly paid extra for. To make matters worse, the other passengers paid the original 300k IDR, which included lunch. When I inquired about my lunch afterward, the staff told me I had to pay extra, claiming that others had also paid for theirs, which was a blatant lie since it was included in their 300k fare.

This left a bitter taste in my mouth. I don’t appreciate being misled or scammed, and it’s incredibly frustrating when a business tries to take advantage of its customers like this. I had an amazing dining experience at D'steel coffee kitchen restaurant in Padang Bay! From the moment I walked in, the staff's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The ambiance was perfect, offering a cozy and relaxing vibe.

The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The seafood was a highlight, clearly caught fresh that day. The spices and flavors showcased authentic Balinese cuisine at its finest.

Do not go to this place. Please. The staff treated in a very rude way my girlfriend. Then she put a bad review, and the owner came to harass my girlfriend very aggressively and insulting me when I tried to understand what was going on, when we were waiting to enter the ostina ferry to Gili. The guy (I presume the owner) is very aggressive to women, from what I could hear after. Based on the character of this owner he cannot take criticism and attack back instead of apologizing or improving the service.
