Bendino - The Best Steak & Wine in Jimbaran — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

At first I am a bit afraid to come here, after reading the owner's reply for the 1 star reviewers. But I came here anyway yesterday, because my husband wants it. Thankfully, I had a very good experience! The food is amazing omg! Seriously!!!!! They are so creative in making it. I dont usually like sweet potato. but here the sweet potato is so crispy and we have thousand islands as a condiment, it is unique but it is so good The grilled squid. OMG! That was the best squid I had ever eaten. But I think it could be better if there is seperate mushroom/barbeque sauce in that. But it is no big deal, since the squid is so good. So I just asked for the tomato sauce and mayo to the waiter. The waiter stands at the center to make sure if anyone needs him they could come immediately. This is really plus point for me. Most of the cafe in Indonesia is not like this, I hate when I have to wave my hands, or walk to waiter to say my request. The food comes very quick and have a good order. the snack first, the main course, the dessert. The waiter is always ready to change the dish. The music isn't too loud so I still be able to have a deep talk. The ambience is warm and cozy.

It was my birthday but I had a really bad day. Then I came to this place with no expectation since I actually had no mood to go anywhere, but turns out I had a very nice moment there. A buddy of mine and I had lunch at your cafe yesterday. If you're driving a car, best to go early. I arrived at 11 for an 11:30 lunch and there was just one out of two parking slots left. They have a guy to help you park, directing traffic etc. We opted to sit in a glassed-in area which was bright, welcoming, with a good view of the outside. Lucky I brought a cushion in from the car as those wooden seat chairs were a bit harsh on my bony butt. In view of their ambitious menu selection, best ask right up front to list what they don't have that day. The tiger king prawns came with head, tail and shell. So don't wear a white suit. My suggestion would be for the prawns to be shelled in the kitchen. Otherwise, the taste was good, if not a little on the small side. The lamb satay was plentiful but one look and I knew it was local, not from New Zealand or Australia. Kind of a local taste too, but good nonetheless. The extra bacon, sauteed mushrooms and spinach were great. The dark chocolate block for dessert was very nice except cashews don't go to well with dark chocolate. At first very nice ambiance and the staff is very nice, however when the owner come the situation become not good. Not welcoming the customer, even ignoring the request of customer. In my shop, customer is the king, and we appreciatte every request even the hardest one. Bad experience ever.

First I did not want to turn your cafe or someone else's cafe to become classroom. The reason why We're came to your cafe is because we we're in the middle of travelling journey, that we needed to: Waited our family member to came from Airport Doing online class with teacher for my kid, not homework with their friends that can be done at another time.

And for the big table is not only for me and my kids, it was for 6 other family member that we're expected to came and had some coffee or snack (which at the end they decided to only picked us up coz they had settle at next cafe).

I expected as the Owner you could just visited our table and asked why we needed to be quite and why we needed the big table or explained why you can not fullfill our requested politely. Not just ignored, and made lots of bad assumption to your...
