L'Atelier by Cyril Kongo — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I had a wonderful evening at L’Atelier by Cyril Kongo. The setting is stylish and intimate, and what really stood out was the exceptional service. Our waitress was absolutely lovely — warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make the evening feel special. She happily arranged a special drink request for me (a perfectly made dirty martini) and even allowed me to request a song from the pianist, which created such a memorable atmosphere. The food and drinks were superb, beautifully presented and crafted with care, but it was the combination of attentive service and live music that elevated the whole experience. Dropped by after dinner to check the place out. Really loved the concept of the place with the graffiti styling and hip tunes. When we got there they had a DJ playing music (who also did a short sax solo). Got a cigar and whiskey combo and it came with chocolate and nibbles. View from above although at night was pretty cool. I like what they have done with the place (looked like a gangway for maintenance people but renovated really well). Place had a display of graffiti and other art work, cool to look at. Serving board with the whiskey and cigar was striking, hip and very cool - really loved it. Staff member helped us light the cigars as were not regular cigar smokers, but a worth while...

We were there for a drink before dinner at izakaya Oku (which has no view whatsoever) because we were hoping to get some fresh air and view. The view didn’t disappoint. The air was more like wild summer winds (strong cool breeze). The designed was kind of contemporary art and very much urban art haven, very funky, with large menu offering.

The ambiance was great and the piano was playing after the playlist ended. That was so nice.
