Whenever I come to do proper work in Bali or meet with a friend for coffee, I always go to Eforhis. It's a cute local, woman-owned cafe a bit away from the moshing and busy crowds of Kuta and Seminyak where the owner tirelessly manages her staff to put out some excellent drinks, food, and a cozy atmosphere. The ceramics they sell and use in the shop are actually produced by relatives so the whole operation is both hyperlocal and family-owned!
To talk more about the drinks, I'm sure that you've probably had dragonfruit juice in Bali, maybe even lychee or soursop. But have you ever had salak (snakefruit juice)? Probably not, and you are 100% missing out until you've come here and tried it. They use the freshest ingredients for both their juices and coffee and the food is also on point. I spoke with the owner and she makes up all the recipes herself and both the traditional Indonesian food and the Western food is absolutely delicious and definitely more affordable than throwing away your money on the international chain food stores in Kuta.
