Hi Fork Bali!
I am a frequent customer in fork bali, And tbh i never write a review on google maps before. But this one i should review.
Never in my all visits i got this BAD service like this, very not customer-oriented, not sincere and not professional.
I was with my friends (5 of us) and I recommend them to go here because i think the place has good food and services
We was ordering food with mba Suci (which is very nice) and we eat the main course,
And after we done with our main course, we want to request the desserts to be out.
And this Gusman (1 star waitress) the only waitress we can ask helps come approaching us and i said "boleh minta dessert nya keluar mas?" And she/he answered with annoying face "pesanannya apa?" And I answered "tadi kita udah pesen mas" and with all the attitude she/he ask "memang saya yang taking order pesanannya?" "Makanya saya tanya ulang pesanannya apa"
First of all, the order must be already recorded on the system, and also we have sheet of our ordered items on our table to be checked.
Gusman keep answering me/us in a bad way, and no even a single apologize said from him/her (?).
And after that we still told to her/him our dessert orders,
And in the end when she/he deliver the order, one of it was a wrong order, and i call the closest waitress ( mba Suci) to come to our table and ask her to call Gusman.
After a few minutes, gusman come to our table bring us the right order, and again not a single apologize or sorry said from her/him. Even she/he knows that she/he was giving us the wrong answer. And still with the face that he make (face of unfriendly and not feel sorry at all)
I want to gusman to get a help because i think she/he have a problem in her/him.
Please do a investigation towards him, and let me know the update.
Until this review written, still no apologies was said from gusman.
Fork was a good place but gusman is a bad person. Ruin everything the fork was given.
And i warn everyone to be prepared if meeting this bad person (gusman).
Get well...
Read moreHad dinner on Jan 29th, arriving just before 8 PM. Ordered bone marrow, Barga steak, cheeseburger, brisket, caramel pudding, and bottled water around 8 PM. Unfortunately, service was painfully slow—nothing arrived for 30–45 minutes (not even the bottled water), while a table that arrived later was served first. When the food finally did come, it was almost cold, as if it had been sitting out.
To make matters worse, our table remained cluttered with dirty dishes long after we finished eating, and despite ordering dessert, we waited another 30 minutes only to be told the caramel pudding wasn’t available.
The saving grace of the night? The host. Though we never asked him to step in, he must have overheard our quiet complaints and took the initiative to help. His attentiveness made all the difference, and the management should truly appreciate him. I didn’t catch his name, but his service stood out.
The food itself was genuinely great, which is why I’d still consider coming back. However, they seriously need to address the slow service, lack of communication, and timing issues—maybe all three. It’s a shame for such well-executed food to be overshadowed by poor service.
What should’ve been a quick meal turned into a frustrating 90-minute wait. Hoping for a much smoother experience next time because of the food (and that incredible host!) deserve better.
3 stars, thanks to the host. Otherwise, it would’ve been lucky to get 1 star based on...

The first odd thing happened when my coffee was served. It tasted good, but it came with a cookie and sugar, yet no coffee spoon was provided. How does that happen?
Then, my friend and I ordered different items. About 15 minutes later, the waiter returned and apologized, saying they had run out of croissants and asked if my friend would like to change the order. My friend decided to switch to the same food order to mine for simplicity, and the waiter confirmed the change. However, another waitress came to us shortly after and repeated that they were out of croissants. She suggested switching the bread to white bread, as the rest of the food was ready. This was confusing—why the inconsistency? There seemed to be no communication between the staff.
When my food finally arrived, there were no cutlery. I ended up eating my meal using bread to scoop up the scrambled eggs. It took 15 minutes for the cutlery to arrive, and by then, I was almost finished. My friend’s food didn’t arrive until I was nearly done eating.
It wasn’t even busy, and it was still morning. How can they run out of items and not notify us at the beginning? The entire process took much longer than it should have.
Lastly, they asked us to leave a review on TripAdvisor in exchange for free condiments. This felt odd and a bit unnecessary.
Management, please train your...
