Firstly, I must commend the service at this restaurant—it was phenomenal! The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. What really stood out was their non-pushy approach to sales; I appreciated that they were attentive without being overbearing. The English proficiency of the staff was also excellent, which made communication a breeze. I think the name of the server who attended to me was Mad’e, but I apologize if I got that wrong; I can be terrible with names!
I came specifically for the Rendang, which had received rave reviews. While it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, it was still quite good and packed a delightful amount of heat. Alongside that, I ordered the crispy chicken dumplings, and they were everything I had hoped for—crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. They did not disappoint at all!
For drinks, I started with the Pineapple Margarita, which I absolutely loved. It was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and I can definitely see myself returning just for that drink. I followed it up with a passionfruit margarita, which leaned a bit sweeter and had a slightly artificial taste. While it wasn’t my favorite, it’s worth noting that it had the tough job of following that amazing first drink.
The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic. It felt cozy and inviting, providing a much-needed escape from the bustling streets of Seminyak. Being slightly off the main road added to the tranquility. The decor featured a charming wooden aesthetic, adorned with vines and hanging leaves in the alfresco area, creating a lovely view from inside where I enjoyed the refreshing air conditioning. Overall, this restaurant is a gem that offers a delightful dining experience, and I can’t...
Read moreThe staff perfectly adopted the ways and nuances of the Russian cuisine. The Borsh soup was spot on! Staff are very friendly and polite. Our waiter was personally invested in making sure our experience was impeccable. The welcoming drinks taste wonderful and are a nice addition to the well prepared, homemade dishes. Prices are worth it, although portions are on smaller side so ordering more food should be considered. Ambience is nice and the restaurant is clean. Cocktails are great. I had the Moscow mule and it was perfect. Whilst being rich in flavour and having that nice vodka kick to it I did not feel any adverse effects of alcohol in the aftermath. Not even tired or dizzy. Very little bars I have been to manage to nail the alcohol ratio in their cocktails. I whole heartedly recommend visiting this establishment , for it sparked childhood memories in me with its food. I wish the establishment and the employees all the best and thank you for the hospitality. I would love to visit you again, if I wouldn't have to fly all across the globe for it :)

Not the best I’ve had but pretty good, and packed some heat. I also had the crispy chicken dumplings which were everything they sounded and didn’t disappoint. For drinks I enjoyed the Pineapple Margarita which I really really enjoyed and will probably go back for again. Followed this with a passionfruit margarita which tastes a lot sweeter and a little artificial, so not my fav, but then it had to follow that amazing first drink so make of it what you will. The ambiance was great, it felt cosy, and like an escape from the business of Seminyak. It benefits not being on the main road for that.
