Honestly, I love the Iiga Warung franchise in Bali however I did not like this one at Kuta, Sunset Rd.
We waited 1 hour for our food to come out when we were the first one to arrive, mind you this is close to opening time. All the other tables somehow managed to get their food and drinks first whilst we literally ordered the same thing as them. I don’t even think our Mango Juice came out until 45minutes whilst others got their drinks first too.
The customer service I experienced here was poor. We were waiting to be seated and the ladies noticed us and walked the other way. Again, we were the first customers to come in so it wasn’t packed at all.
This is the kicker, I wanted to change the white rice to nasi goreng on the Pork Ribs dish option (as the Pork portion was bigger on this dish) as I’ve done this before in other Iiga Warungs in Bali and this option costs a little extra which is fine for me. The lady taking down our order advised this cannot be done and was strongly adamant about it. I told her I’ve done this before at other Iiga warungs and she still said no. I also told her that it doesn’t make sense because if you order the Nasi Goreng dish option, it comes with half a rib size anyway, but she still said they cannot.
I went up to another server, who was very nice, he actually said they can do it but it’ll cost more and I said that’s fine I’m happy with that. However the other lady server stopped him and told me they cannot. Very disappointed as this was going to be the last meal for us before we leave.
Portion sizes at the Kuta Sunset Rd Iiga Warung restaurant were also smaller compared to the others. They serve in a big plate but what’s the point of that if you’re going to serve small quantity? This isn’t exactly fine dining
Disappointed that this was our last meal before we came back home. Please go visit other options or other Iiga Warung...

Read morePlace: a very cozy and authentic Indonesian restaurant that specialises in pork BBQ. The prices here are catered for tourist and no locals would eat here. A few hits and misses in terms of food.
Service: good but not excellent. Order taken by waiter and food served once food ready in 10 to 15 minutes.
Food: Appetiser (keropok and chilli sauce): a very classic Malaysian-like appetizer that is nice and a good start to our lunch here.
Tomahawk: wow, I must say, the texture of the pork is spot on and the flavour is heavenly! A dish that I'd just come back again for. I ordered another 1 after finishing the 1st order. Verdict: 4.9/5.
Roasted duck: ala- ayam penyet style, and a bit dry for my taste but I can appreciate where they're coming from with this dish. Verdict: 2.5/5.
Pork soup: very very salty soup that causes hypertension after just 1 mouth full. Terrible....
