Mantra Coffee & Eatery — Restaurant in Kuta

Arrived at this place an hour before the closing. The staff was really annoying and just simply ignored our calling to the table

My friend has to stand up and to get them to our table.. when he arrived, no menu on his hand. In fact he asked us what method of payment we are going to use, cash or credit card because the cashier is closing soon and same goes to the kitchen. If we are paying using credit card, It is best to select food at the cashier and pay using credit card at the cashier directly

After that, we asked for the menu as he don’t even bring one as he thinks we know the menu. He was not happy when we said we need the menu and paying by cash

As the menu arrived, I placed an order of a aglio olio. He asked me how spicy I would like the pasta be, I told him not too spicy and he said the pasta will be spicy. I then later placed an order of milkshake, which I explained to him milk purify the spicy taste during meal. He smirk as if I made a joke!

At 12.10 midnight just after the order was taken, a bunch of locals came and the same payment question was asked but this time I think the customers are not happy with the question.. and guess what? The cashier came out with the machine! Which makes both me and my friend confused! So the machine can clone brought out!

Exploring google maps for nearby cafe and I spotted Mantra Coffee & Eatery. You need to look closely since Mantra Coffee & eatery located at the very end of an alley. In the time of my visit which is on 2022, 25th December, they're kinda busy with a group of around 30 people. At first, I actually ordered Chicken Pitta Sandwich, Tropic Mango SS, chocolate croissant and vanilla gelato. But I have to wait around 1 hour for the food, then protested twice to the server, and the food that arrived only Chicken Pitta Sandwich and Tropic Mango SS (since , since I already tired of waiting. I really appreciated the staff hospitality, however their working methods is questionable, since they expect me to wait until the group of 30 to be served first.
