Warung Leka - Leka — Restaurant in Kuta

Unfortunately I believe this warung has like so many other places on jl drupadi been closed and taken over by expats like its neighbours dolce , it will be yoga 108 going forward I think , very sad that locals are forced out and replaced by expats who charge so much more to live there lavish lifestyles on the island one of the reasons tourist numbers are falling and somewhat of a catch 22 given that more tourisim is the solution yet that in itself is causing its own problems ... the widening gap of affluent tourisim versus middle class tourisim is widening with affluent tourist not spending in local businesses as they stay at resorts or private villas and middleclass tourists been priced out via expats operating businesses expecting prices that are on a par with where holiday makers come from making bali up economically for most ... The problem is not overtourisim as some might say but also over commercialization and as a result bali is loosing its...

No one there but service was slow Ordered the following : Temulawak - local beverage, super sweet. Gado gado - vegetables were over cooked. Sauce was so so. Won't recommend. Beef rendang - had a piece of plastic in food. That aside, beef was sliced, ok taste. Won't recommend. Pork belly with matah matah - this would account for the more than 1 star rating. The pork was done really crispy, sauce was nice. Highly recommended.

Overall the Indonesian food here is sub par. Perhaps their western selection is much better. Price wise, it is a lot more affordable and priced well than most...

I've been in Bali for about a week now and I must say that this is the best place to dine in Seminyak (trust me, i looked far and wide). Their menu covers local and European dishes (also has a lot of options). Their kitchen is clean (i sneaked to have a look), food presented well and the pricing is the cheapest in Seminyak (unless you wanna pay even less and get food poisoning somewhere else). Their staff is also pleasant to deal with and they also speak English. I recommend for you to go to their upper level to enjoy a bit of greenery with light see breeze (amazing after the sun bathing...
