Seminyak Kitchen — Restaurant in Kuta

Live music made a good atmosphere. We were seated in a separate dining area so the music was not overwhelming that you had to shout when talking to friends. Staff are great, friendly and attentive. There was about 10 of us (4 kids).

Special mention to Chika who was so nice to to us, I love people who just love their job and made sure we were very comfortable. Chika also gave out some free bracelets for the kids which is a very nice touch.

Ordered a Wagyu rump, presentation looked very pretty, simple but elegant. I liked the grilled garlic and fries on the side was fresh and crunchy. Beef was average for me. Felt a little tough and the whiskey sauce tasted more like a mushroom sauce. Beef however had a nice char. All other dishes were very nicely plated.

We were told that you can request a song or two which we wrote on a piece of paper and then headed outside wear the live music was but after we did this (about 9pm) the band packed up and left. Would have been nice to at least play one of our requested songs but understand that the band probably only got paid till 9pm or at the very least apologise that our request could not be made so that we're not left wondering. Our dinner at Seminyak Kitchen was a truly memorable experience, and what made it stand out the most was the exceptional kindness and warmth of the staff. In all the restaurants I’ve ever been to — not just in Bali, but anywhere in the world — I have never encountered such genuinely kind and caring service. Rama and Arista, our waiters for the evening, were beyond amazing. They were not only attentive and professional, but also incredibly warm, friendly, and thoughtful in every interaction. Their smiles and sincere attitude made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. I also want to highlight the lovely girl at the entrance, who greeted us with such grace and kindness — setting the tone for a wonderful evening from the very first moment. I first discovered this breakfast in 2022 and was so impressed I had to come back again! The moment I walked back in, I was welcomed like I was a regular by the amazing Arini. She even remembered my name and it had been 11 months since my last visit! I’ve never experienced this level of customer service anywhere else. As a restaurant owner myself, I appreciate receiving good service. The food here is exceptional. Full buffet breakfast with different cooking stations serving the best in western and Indo cuisines. The chefs at the cooking stations even deliver a high standard of service. Special mention to Rizal at the omelette station for taking the time to get to have a conversation with me whilst preparing my eggs. I recommend getting here early and taking your time to try as many of the different options as possible. They’re all fantastic!
