Oh my gosh!! this place deserves 6 stars for everything, every detail, and every bit of service! Beautiful and tasty, you can find it all here!
It was only our second day in Lombok, and we were looking for something nice but still with local food, which is how we ended up here. From the door, the staff were welcoming and even let us choose the table that suited us best. The menu is beautiful, we loved the details, especially the map and the simple explanations about which region each dish comes from.
The décor is gorgeous too. We really enjoyed noticing all the details, the tables and chairs, the bar, and the open kitchen. All beautifully done. And when the food arrived, the presentation was so inviting, it truly made us look forward to eating.
We loved the drinks as well, and they even introduced us to their “immunity shot,” which we tried and really enjoyed. The fresh fruit juices were also full of flavor.
And finally, the food itself: wow! A “simple” meat and rice dish with so much flavor, the meat was tender and delicious. I also ordered some vegetables, which I absolutely loved. We were so full that, sadly, we had to skip dessert.
We are really thankful for the warm, welcoming staff. It was an absolute pleasure...
Read moreI’ve been here twice recently and the food is always superb, the rendang is especially amazingly tasty. However the second time we were here, there was a group of around 10-12 mostly Australian girls who were being served by a non-Indonesian waiter (dressed casually compared to the rest of the staff) who I can only assume is either the owner or someone in some sort of senior management for the restaurant, and the girls I would assume are perhaps influencers or a VIP group since the specific waiter was extremely attentive only to them. Throughout the night the girls were extremely obnoxiously loud and cackling. I know I wasn’t being picky because all of the neighbouring couples seated next to us and beyond repeatedly turned their heads in response to how loud they were. After we finished our food we wanted to pay our bill and leave because we’d finished, however we couldn’t for another 10 minutes because the same group of obnoxious loud girls were standing around using all of the payment tills. Besides this, we also waited so much longer than usual for our food that the staff decided to give us a free side dish (despite most of what we ordered being...

The beef rendang here is the best I’ve ever had. We tried both versions – the Minang and another style (can’t remember the name) – and while both are excellent, the Minang is our personal favorite. If you enjoy deep, rich flavors, go with the Minang. If you prefer something creamier and lighter, the other style will suit you better.
Surprisingly, the green beans were a standout too – and that’s saying something, because I usually don’t even like green beans! The nasi goreng is also a solid, comforting classic done really well.
The staff here are warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes every visit a pleasure. We’ve already eaten here four times and will definitely come back again.
Drinks are fresh and flavorful – the pineapple juice is especially refreshing. For spice lovers, don’t skip the sambals. We tried four different ones, and the balado ended up being our favorite.
Pawon is a must-try when in Kuta. You HAVE to visit here – it would be a real shame to miss out on this...
