The Breakery — Restaurant in Lombok

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your establishment on 21/12/2025 I encountered several issues during my visit, which I feel need immediate attention.

Firstly, I was incorrectly charged for delivery and service fees on a takeaway order. Despite showing proof of prior transactions that demonstrated this had not been the case before, the staff insisted on the charges. When I brought this up with the owner, they claimed that delivery fees are not charged, yet this contradicts what happened today.

When I refused to pay the additional charges, the cashier responded unprofessionally. She disagreed with me both verbally and physically, which is entirely unacceptable. Furthermore, when I requested to speak with someone in charge, I was ignored and ultimately asked to leave without being served.

This experience has left me feeling disrespected and mistreated as a customer. I urge you to review this matter and ensure that such incidents do not happen again. Clear communication about charges, respectful customer service, and appropriate conflict resolution are fundamental to maintaining customer trust.

First up the positive: The Crossaint & the Breakfast Combo tasted really good! There was plenty of butter + little Bonne Maman Jam which we loved!

Now to the negatives: First of all the menu was very strict and there was no flexibility at all: You couldn’t change anything about the pastries with the breakfast combo. Ok fine. Maybe they only hat some of them as mini versions. But on the French combo I asked to have a Cappuccino instead of the double espresso (which is the same price): “Not possible” - Why? “Sorry not possible” well ok…

Then I ordered the Brie Cheese Bagel and it was not as I expected it to be: There was loads of Brie(too much for my taste but whatever) The Onion Jam was no Onion Jam, it was just a few pickled onions and the arugula was missing! Instead there was a pice of normal salad… :(

So I basically hab a bagel with loads of Brie and a piece of lettuce. No onion jam, no arugula (both were written on the menu)

Didn’t taste very good…

Paying upfront whilst sitting at a table didn’t add to the experience…

I probably wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast, if you’d like more than a Croissant. Especially because here are so many better & friendlier...

My friends and I came to the Breakery for breakfast. Our expectations were very high since we read so many excellent reviews of it. But I sadly have to say that they didn’t match the reality, at least not completely. We had New York roll, eggs Benedict and an American Bagel with Cappuccino and orange juice. The New York roll was average, however, the rest of bakery looked very good. The eggs Benedict were disappointing, and one has to take in count that they are not served with avocado here and you can’t ask to add it if you would have liked. Moreover, the bread wasn’t toasted enough. So at the end it wasn’t a very tasty dish. However, the American Bagel was amazing and we definitely recommend it, just very delicious, tasty and filling. There is a very long list of different ones that are probably as good as this one. Coffee and orange juice were very nice too.

To sum up it had some good and bad things. But the ambient is very good-outside there I are fans to keep you fresh. The staff...
