Regarding the rooms, we got the impression that the focus was more on the coworking space/restaurant. The rooms are basic (which is fine), but the amenities definitely need improvement. The bamboo bungalows are beautiful but need updating; our door had to be pulled up to close every time because it was crooked, the lighting in the bungalow was very dim, the blanket on the double bed was only enough for one person, and the mosquito net wasn't big enough to cover the bed, which was essential given the number of mosquitoes in the garden and the bungalows having many openings. The Wi-Fi maybe works in the (separate) coworking space, but in the rooms/restaurant it was weak and intermittent. Finally, the shared bathroom facilities consisted of a single shower and two toilets, one of which was "closed" by a curtain, which, as women, we found unusable. Furthermore, from what we observed, this toilet was used not only by bungalow guests, but also by restaurant guests and staff. In short, for the price paid, the services were...

My partner and I came here for dinner and wow! The service was absolutely phenomenal- the staff were friendly, attentive and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely evening. The setting and ambiance of the restaurant area is lovely, super peaceful, the restaurant is located off the busy main road making for a tranquil dining experience. Little touches like the mosquito spray and selection of games made the guest experience feel even more special. We had the pesto pasta which was delicious and also a deceptively big portion as well! I totally love this place. Such a welcoming and cosy place. Supernice staff and owners. Stayed in Kuta during one winter and I always kept coming back to this place. During xmas and a special occasion together with friends they also organized table grills for us with nice seafood, chicken and vegetables to put on the grill and sallad and sauces on the side. Amazing. Everyone enjoyed sooo much! Highly recommend this place for lunch, snack meal or dinner anytime. Just make sure you contact same same in advance if you are interested in the special grill menu.

Same Same also have crazy good wi-fi. Even when all the other places in Kuta have none, Same Same probably have connection. Almost...
