This Restourant is my absolute favorite in Malang! From the moment you step in, you're transported to a different era with its charming vintage and heritage vibe. It's like taking a delightful step back in time, where every corner tells a story.
The service here is impeccable. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a warm smile and eager to assist with anything you need. They truly make you feel at home, which is such a rare find these days.
The location is perfectly strategic, right in the heart of the city. Whether you're here for business or leisure, everything you need is just a stone's throw away. And let's talk about the prices – super affordable for the quality and experience you get!
Now, the food and drink options are simply amazing. There's a wide variety of traditional and international dishes to choose from, catering to every palate. And if you're a fan of wine and beer, you're in for a treat! They have an impressive selection that will surely satisfy any connoisseur.
The atmosphere is so cool and green, especially near the pool. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. The combination of the lush greenery and the refreshing poolside setting creates a serene oasis in the middle of the bustling city.
Every time I'm in Malang, I make it a point to come here. It's become a home away from home for me. If you're ever in Malang, I highly recommend you give this place a try. You won't be...
Read moreThe food here can be spectacular at times and disgusting at others... I think it really depends on what you order. Having stayed at the hotel many times over the years, I've had the chance to try a lot of the menu, but these days I'm having only the breakfast, due to the many disappointments with the full menu. A disclaimer: I've never tried any of the Western or Chinese options, so maybe they're a little more consistent. I'd avoid most of the rice entrees that come with 6-7 meat and veggie sides, as I've found that 2-3 of those sides are too nasty to eat (better versions are available on the streets). These are beautifully plated (see others' photos) and might be fun if you're new to Indonesian food and want to sample a variety of options, but they're inconsistent. Oddly, pretty much every Indonesian meal is always wayyyyy too sweet (we're in East Java, not Jogja!). Several times I left wishing I just ordered the fries. Again, this place is great for someone new to Indonesian food, but there are much better (and more authentic) versions of many of these menu items just a short walk away. That all said, the restaurant staff are exceptionally welcoming and professional, and the building is gorgeous. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing...
