Alun Alun Malang — Attraction in Malang

MALANG TOWN SQUARE

Malang town square is one of the icons unfortunate since the Dutch era. This place is also not far from the city hall and the train station and close to the traditional shopping center known as the big market. This is actually a very nice place to visit as the location is exactly in the heart of Malang. Surrounded with shops restaurants and cafes. Mosque and Churches are nearby too. Those religious places are the symbol of the religious tolerance in Malang. Close to the goverment offices and the popular walking spot Kajoe tangan. Lot of free space but definitely need maintenance and some corners are dirty. Playground is usually very crowded with kids and need cleaning. Knowing that many street sellers in and out the park so the cleaning of the place is absolutely need to be addressed. There people smoking and throwing the cigarette buts everywhere. There are many seats around the park but people choose to sit on the grass ( over crowded ) The water fountain in the middle as the main attraction is rarely played.
