MALANG TOWN SQUARE
Malang town square is one of the icons unfortunate since the Dutch era. Located in the city center, not far from the office of regent which's now has been moved to Kepanjen, for the development of regional autonomy. This place is also not far from the city hall and the train station and close to the traditional shopping center known as the big market. Too close to another city icon unfortunate that the Mesjid Agung Malang, GPIB church and the Catholic church adjacent to the Dutch heritage Mc Dee and Sarinah.
Gramedia bookstores don't want to miss, it's in front of Mc Dee and is adjacent to the palace of ice cream Und. It's famous as a place visited by many tourists from the Netherlands, because of the typical Dutch culinary concoction.
This square at the time of the leadership of Mbah Anton now has been increased to a relaxing family equipped with children's games arena with not allowing pedagang asongan littering the square.

Read moreThis is actually a very nice place to visit as the location is exactly in the heart of Malang. Surrounded with shops restaurants and cafes. Mosque and Churches are nearby too. Those religious places are the symbol of the religious tolerance in Malang. Close to the goverment offices and the popular walking spot Kajoe tangan. Lot of free space but definitely need maintenance and some corners are dirty. Playground is usually very crowded with kids and need cleaning. Knowing that many street sellers in and out the park so the cleaning of the place is absolutely need to be addressed. There people smoking and throwing the cigarette buts everywhere. There are many seats around the park but people choose to sit on the grass ( over crowded ) The water fountain in the middle as the main attraction is rarely played.
