Tourist beware!!

I asked all price before i ordered. Mix rice IDR 25,000. Bread IDR 6,000. Omelette IDR 20,000.

After eating, when i want to make payment. The guy was not there anymore. Another woman calculated everything using calculator and she charged me much higher than it was supposed to be.

So i asked the detailed price. She marked up the price: bread IDR 10,000. Omelette IDR 25,000.

Upon confrontation, she just said sorry because she didnt know how much was the price the guy gave me. So she just charged me higher for tourist price. Or even the guy already quoted a tourist price for me, and she just marked up even higher price.

Oh, i didnt just buy one item. I bought many items, especially the bread and the traditional cakes, and ordered few items too.

In the end, after the arguments, she recalculate again and quoted a total price which was about 30% lower than the previous total price she quoted before.

A pleasant breakfast turned unpleasant experience. Clearly we as tourist we already paid higher than the local people, no problem. We pay what we agreed to help the local people business. But the fact that she try to mark up the price again, really too much, greedy.

Oh to be honest, the food was just so so. And i speak bahasa fluently, so i cant imagine you guys who even speak totally foreign langugage, how much they will charge you. So beware, or just eat somewhere else....
