MUNCHIES PENIDA — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

The food here is good but takes forever to arrive. We ordered around 5:50pm, it’s now 6:55. There were 5 of us; 2 people haven’t got their food at all while everyone else has finished their meals. We ordered 3 pizzas. Tasted good and were clearly freshly made but all were wrong. They swapped two tables orders which both had begun to eat because the wait was too long to correct them by the time they arrive. Then just gave one of us the completely wrong pizza. The staff are friendly, trying their best with language barrier so felt bad to communicate their error. They gave us Uno cards halfway through waiting to entertain ourselves because they are obviously aware they have a long wait time. Nice but shouldn’t need to be done. We asked for refund on two pizzas but they only refunded us for one and half priced the other. They also just forgot to make a smoothie bowl we ordered. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you don’t have a spare two hours or if you’re hungry - you’ll leave unsatisfied...

Had the 'Special' Krusty Burger. Turns out the only special aspect involves fishing out metal from between your teeth after it was buried in your meal. Barely got an apology, just a 'that burger is free'. Had to pay for everything else and no more mention of the incident.

The garden salad was very strange. Lots of egg, even more balsamic vinegar (some would describe it as a lake).

Black bun was weird. Burger also came with 5 wedges. 5. I know it's a side but christ this isnt the kids menu. Stingey.

Music was obviously playing through a semi-broken aux cable so kept losing bass then going super loud etc etc.

Bathroom sink was full to the brim with stagnant dirty water. Couldn't wash hands. Tried to and the sink overflowed onto my shoes, yum.

Terrible restaurant experience. 1 out of 5 for...

Came here hoping for pizza but they were out so we had fish and chips, (the fish tasted like chicken) chicken wings with a BBQ spicy sauce (they were very tough but the chicken here is like that) and a bland chicken burger.

I didn't enjoy the meal the only thing decent was the potatoe wedges and fries. The crazy amount of flies and ants did not help.

I definitely wouldn't eat here again. Also had a lot of dogs come into the restaurant although that seems common in Nusa Penida. They really need to try and stop this happening.

Would have given 1 star but the service was good and polite. A lot of tourists eat at this restaurant although maybe it's because they offer western food options but unfortunately the ambience and food is not very good. I didn't...
