A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
We arrived a little after 7 to no greeting by any staff member. We sort of hovered in the entry way with a few other parties before we decided to just go in and ask if we could sit at a table.
By the time we were seated and then given menus it was 7:15. We ordered starters, drinks and mains. Starters came out fairly quickly, only around a 10min wait and were pretty tasty. We could see our drinks sat on the bar while eating our starters and this is where they remained for around 10mins. Numerous staff walked past the increasing pile of orders ready to be served but didn’t seem to care. We then decided to go up to the bar and ask if we could take them ourselves. The barman asked his boss and he said he’d run them.. he didn’t. They still sat there for another 5 minutes before he finally handed them to us.
Mains then came out separately (although we are used to this, so not a massive issue). However, 3/4 of our party had finished eating and the 4th main still was no where to be seen. We had also noticed that one of our dishes may have been wrong although we were unsure as the staff member running the food did not specify the dish and just put it in front of us. We were later informed it was the wrong dish
At 8:15 we asked the staff to check on the missing dish, again they did not check. After another 5 or so minutes and now pretty frustrated and hungry we managed to call the ‘manager’ over and explain 1 dish was missing. He checked and came back to explain there had been some miscommunication with the kitchen etc. There wasn’t much empathy for the situation and I even had to get him to explicitly say that they were now going to cook my dish as he didn’t exactly reassure me it was on the way.
Finally at 8:45 my food arrived. The food was actually pretty tasty so I’ll give credit to the chefs for that. Unfortunately 3/4 of us were ill that night so I can’t give the anymore praise for the food.
When we went up to pay (you’ll be lucky if someone clears your table and gives you the opportunity to ask for the bill) there was no acknowledgement of the poor service given and so we requested for the incorrect meal to be removed and I wished we asked for the service fee to also be taken off.
It seemed we weren’t the only ones with issues. The table next to us were sat at a dirty table which they then served food on; they had to ask for it to be cleaned. They were also served meat in a vegetarian dish which nearly happened to us as one of the staff thinks he can remember your order without writing it down. Multiple other tables also complained about the time they were waiting for food and drinks and you could see the frustration on their faces as they tried to get a staff members attention for any form of service.

Read moreI was looking forward to dining here but there are alot of hiccups with the floor staff unfortunately. We made a online dinner booking as we were told we cannot book in person, fair enough. We had dined there for breakfast that morning, all went well. We were booked in for dinner that same night and was looking forward to the food. Our booking was from 6pm - 7.30pm. We arrived 10mins early. It took 20mins for floor staff to take our orders(i had to actually ask for their attention). We ordered 3 drinks & multiple dishes, 2 drinks arrived. We waited & waited & waited. 7.30pm(1.5hrs later) nothing else had arrived. I had to go to the counter & querie the floor staff to which they replied with Would u like to cancel your booking? No, i just want my food, even 1 dish. We had a toddler with us & he was getting so hungry & upset as its way past his meal time. It took a further 30mins for the meals to arrive. One of the floor staff did apologize & asked if he could offer us a drink on the house, i said we've got our drinks covered but the 3rd drink still hadn't arrived (2hrs after the order). He said he would check on the drink order, I mention that if they would like to offer a small dessert to my child instead, it would be appreciated. The staff said ok. The dessert never arrived. Our 3rd drink did finally arrive just past the 2hr mark. I didn't bother asking about the dessert as its getting late. Went to settle the bill & noticed after i paid, we were billed twice for the 3rd drink that took over 2hrs to arrive. I had already made cash payment so asked for a refund. The manager gave me an incorrect sum then argued with the fact that bill is inclusive of service fee. I fully understand that service fee was inclusive. It took a few mins to get the message thru(he basically didnt realise how much i had paid as it was in cash). Refund was finally settled. No further apologies for the mistake in billing, long delay in meals, drink or the missing dessert they were offering. The 2 star rating im giving is purely for the food. Floor staff really need to pickup their game. I understand the food & beverage industry, have worked in the industry myself but these guys really need to review their process and the way they are corresponding...
Read moreFirst of all, when we arrived (this experience actually happened a while ago, but we just decided to write the review today as we’ve come back to Lembongan before going back to Europe to refresh our memory of how this tropical island is like) anyway, we ordered some starters which we were hoping we would get before our mains, but all of them came out at the exact same time (this often happens to us in Asia, so we were still okay about that!). However, we ordered sparkling water (a big one) and the waiters just brought out two small bottles of sparkling water and we asked them “aren’t these the small ones” and they said “yes we don’t have the big one” and we confirmed how they’re gonna charge us with bc obviously we would’ve ordered a big sparkling water and some other drinks apart from the sparkling water. The waiter then said in their broken English “we would charge you -the same price- as the big sparkling water” and we wondered if they knew what they meant. And the bill arrived, we were charged with 2 small sparkling water (the difference is not even much esp bc they obv charge in Rupiah) but the problem is the attitude of the waiters!! Not only had they misled us by giving us the wrong information whilst we had already confirmed, but they acted nonchalantly about that! Then we talked to a girl (who was supposedly the “manager” or “assistant manager” bc why would they put someone who can barely speak good English and understand basic English communication as the manager of the restaurant!!!” She then did NOT say sorry for their mistake (bc obv they didn’t inform us that that had no big sparkling water and just replaced it w two small ones), she then blamed us for not ordering the small one instead!! My wife was furious esp by their attitude, and I just went to their cashier to pay the bill! We would never come back here again, and we probs wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place to anyone. They should focus on training their employees well instead of only trying to attract customers bc they...
