Wyn's Penida Cafe — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

I am sorry but I can’t give more stars than one. We were so excited to go to this restaurant/cafe for Sisha and dinner. But everything that could be wrong was wrong. I made reservation but when we came in they didn’t even know about it and told us just to sit somewhere. I mean the restaurant was not full but when you provide reservations you should be able to handle them.

We ordered Sisha, two flavors and some food. The waiter asked us if we want the Sisha before the food or after. We said before….well we got it at the same time as the food🙃. It’s no big deal but why are you asking if you can’t make it right. My boyfriend ordered banh mi, I ordered burger and asked for not spicy. My boyfriend got club sandwich and my burger was spicy. 🫠 Lichee lemonade was just soda with 2 lichees in it without any syrup. One think was amazing and that was the taro Frappuccino.💯 We told the waiter what was wrong with our food and everything and he apologized. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. Food comes cold and late. Various other reviews complaining about getting sick from the food. The food when it does come is the smallest portions ever. My girlfriend got given 7 chips with her burger. 7 chips. And half we're grey. We asked for fresh ones and more than 7 chips and they came back 10 minutes later with the exact same chips. We complained to the owner and it's obvious she's told the staff to give as little food as possible as she was backing her staff. Do not come it this place it is so badly run.

Do not believe the good reviews as they give you free desert for good reviews which is not even legal I don't think.

Also when complaining to the manager/owner she videoed us and when we caught her she tried denying to showing her camera roll and my girlfriend clicked on the video of us an she was like that's nothing, that's nothing then said we can pay a fraction of the price and we shoild leave. My friends ordered the spring rolls, garlic bread, and the Balinese chicken curry, and they loved every bite. The curry in particular was a standout, authentic, aromatic, and not too spicy (european spiciness).

For the quality of the food and the relaxing setting, the prices were more than fair. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting real value for your money.
