707 Beachberm — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

1-star for the waiter. I don’t know whether it’s the bar’s policy or the staffs are just RACIST toward LOCAL tourist.

The two of us ordered 2 drinks and a snack while enjoying the sunset around 0650 pm. The place is not so crowded as we sat within the beanbag area which doesn’t have minimum spend. At 0715 pm, a waiter came and told us to pay the bill in instance. While completing my payment, I asked him what time the bar closed and why he’s telling us to complete the payment before we finish. He guiltily told us the bar closes at 8 pm, then reasoned the tab actually should be paid right away after order came and he’s about to ask other to complete the payment which later he didn’t do. We were the only one who were asked to close the bill that moment and not long after, a couple of customers came and served right away.

This is a major decline for Bali tourism. I thought Bali learned something from the pandemic, you relied on local tourists while the border were closed. I don’t really know whether they were afraid we were just going to run away without paying, politely telling us to scram, or just racist.

I hope this bar let their staff learn or just close your...

We went here for dinner. The chairs were comfy and we got front row on edge of cliff leading to the beach to watch the sunset. As we sat there we were able to watch many people coming and going along the beach. Dogs running by. It's important to note there are signs that say no swimming. You can go in but aren't supposed to swim when the warning flags are up on the beach.

The food was ok. I like real traditional Indonesian food but this was more western so even the nasi goreng wasn't spicy. We ordered it spicy. At the tourist places the food is usually salty and westernized.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't something I would go back for. The non alcoholic drinks were just average too.

But what was above average was the awesome customer service. The workers spoke very good English and they tolerated my horrible bahasa Indonesia. 🤣They were awesome! I will be back for the customer service that was above average! And the great view at sunset. It was a blessing we walked right in and got an awesome table.

like the food here, was very nice. but the staff? they didnt seem like they wanna work. iv been working in hospitality especially Food and Beverage Service, always give the customers the best service no matter where they came from. Im indonesian and i was eating here. I asked for the menu to the woman, she is short, looks older than the others. Iv been waiting her to give me a menu but she didn’t, she just came around tourist costumers area n being ignorant to mee, but one guy gave me the menu and paid attention to me, good for him. I don’t like the way she acted, i asked a tissue to her aswell and she didn’t even give it to me. Woman ur working here as a server and please serve your guest with the best service, ur a server and act so arrogant, its not how you serve your customers, no matter where are they coming from either they are locals or foreigners just please be nice. i deffo not gonna come back to this place eventho i...
