Bali Boozy Kitchen and Bar — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Today, I was sitting at a large table. We had placed an additional order and were waiting for our food. Then, the woman marked with a red circle in the photo came in with her family. She pointed at me and told the staff that she wanted to sit at my table. When the staff came to me, I explained that we had already ordered more food and were currently waiting for it. He then went back to her and seemed to explain something.

However, the staff never actually asked me to move or made any attempt to properly manage the situation. As I was eating the food that eventually arrived, the woman suddenly came over and said something racist and offensive to me. When I confronted her and asked what she had just said, she suddenly ran out of the restaurant with her family without paying, claiming that she was leaving because I made her uncomfortable—an utterly ridiculous excuse.

This situation could have been avoided entirely if the staff had simply managed the tables properly—either by asking me to move or by clearly explaining the situation to her.

Although the food at this restaurant is good, the poor table management and unprofessional behavior of the staff led to a very unpleasant experience. No matter how good the food is, after an experience like this, I have no desire to return

We spent two nights at the Kashantee Village, right next door and checked out this lovely bar on the night we arrived. It was packed and the music was great, yet a little bit too loud for us.

We decided to come back the next morning for their delicious breakfast (smashed avocado and omelette on toast) and a fresh iced cappuccino!!

After a busy day in Canggu and with all the options for dinner there we still came back to this vibey bar and didn’t regret it at all! The food was incredible. We ordered a chicken burger, pork belly bao buns and also some Indonesian food. We tried their Arak too and felt it very soon.
