A niche little place in the heart of Petitenget with strong coffee served with strong bad attitude.

It’s not my first time being at Revolver and their outlets but lately their hospitality has been dwindled down to mere remorselessness and coldness which affects the mood. Simply, walked with some friends with our happy and warm personalities to he met with bland responses from the staff. No greetings are fine when you are busy (because it is understandable if there isn’t time) but in this case it was merely quiet with no more than 2 people (not too early or too late); a simple ‘Hi” or “Good Morning” would be nice but I guess to make up the personality of the place is the customers themselves in this edgy place. We enjoyed ourselves with some coffee only to get our energy up but we got frustrated with few of the staff for their late responses and sudden blunt ‘here-you-go-here-is-your-coffee’ serving from one of your staff (whom I recall to be Nita; could be your daily worker which she seems fairly new).

Anyways, I only give majority points only for the niche branding / graphics.

It is sad that hospitality in Bali is becoming less genuine with warm hospitality and simply becoming a constant in-your-face up-selling reading off the policy...

I love the concept of this shop. a small antique themed coffee shop with comfortable cushions and a speakeasy vibe.

The coffee itself was good but not exceptional. the acidity was a bit too high and the flavor was somewhat lacking.

The service was quite nice however im uncertain why it was necessary to have about 5 employees working in such a small shop.

As i mentioned earlier the theme of the coffee shop was very cool and innovative as i have never seen a shop with a vibe anywhere close to this one. the one problem is that it is not well maintained. The comfortable cushions and pillows are covered in stains. most surfaces are dirty and worn. a large cracked and rusted mirror displayed next to the bar. Its a shame they have let this beautiful place get so worn

The menus are really beautiful. large luxurious peices of leather that drape over your hand as you read the what the shop has to offer. it really matches the theme quite beautifully.

In short i think this shop has incredible potential but i think it has to get its house a bit more in order before it would be the kind of place i would recommend to friends and fellow...

My favourite place for coffee! Luckily we could sit inside as someone was leaving - - there are only 4 tables of 2-3 indoors, together with the cashier/coffee machines, it makes for a cramped space. Could be cosy, depending on how you see it.

Had an iced White Latte (30k++ IDR) with the milk swapped to coconut milk (additional 5k++ IDR), as it was a sweltering hot day. I think it would've been better as a warm drink, as the coconut doesn't taste great iced. The hot White Latte with an extra shot (additional 5k++ IDR) was more my cup of tea... No pun intended!

The food was either a hit or miss, to be honest. The Carrot Cake (45k++ IDR) was good, but not amazing or mind blowing. The Booty (65k++ IDR), is a dish of yogurt with granola & some fruits, was disappointing. The yogurt was pretty watered down & the granola not as bountiful as I would've liked. Just stick to the coffee!
