I had an extremely disappointing experience at this cafe, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
First, the food. We ordered chebureki, which turned out to be completely dry and overcooked. Not only were they poorly prepared, but they were also downright tasteless. It’s a dish I’d strongly advise against ordering.
Second, the hookah. We ordered a berry-flavored hookah, but what we received was utterly flavorless, as if it had already been smoked for over an hour. When we raised this issue, the hookah master attempted to fix it but only made things worse by adding ice or mint, which completely ruined the experience for me as I dislike those flavors. No one asked for my preference before making these changes. After just 10 minutes of smoking this adjusted hookah, the tobacco burned out entirely.
When we called over another staff member to check, he confirmed the tobacco was fully burnt but claimed it wasn’t his responsibility and called over the original hookah master. This person then proceeded to scrape away the top layers of burnt tobacco, insisting it was fine, despite the strong burnt smell and taste. It was impossible to smoke, and when I refused to continue, I requested the bill.
Finally, when I questioned the charge for the hookah—considering it was only smoked for 10 minutes instead of the usual hour—the staff showed no accountability. They claimed it was “normal” for a hookah to last that short, which is absurd. This lack of care and unprofessionalism left me completely dissatisfied.
Overall, the service, food, and hookah quality were far below acceptable standards. This place operates more like a cheap diner with no regard for customer satisfaction. I strongly recommend avoiding it...
Read moreVisiting this place was a real disappointment. The service was awful! There are call buttons on the tables, but what’s the point if no one responds? I waited over 10 minutes for the bill, even though I was in a hurry. I had to go up to the bar myself to ask to pay. The staff were just chatting away, completely ignoring the dining area.
❗️On top of that, the quality doesn’t match the prices at all!! This was the worst cappuccino I’ve had in Bali. For almost 60,000 rupiah (prices on the menu don’t include the additional 16% in taxes), you get a regular-sized coffee that tastes like it’s from a 3-in-1 packet. It was bland and somehow slightly sweet, even though I didn’t add any sugar. After such a bad coffee, I lost all interest in ordering any food.
➕➕➕ P.S. Okay, I may have been too harsh about the atmosphere. I appreciate that you took the time to address my concerns. I understand that your establishment is not primarily a coffee shop, but I believe that every item on the menu should meet a certain standard of quality regardless.
Also, while your humor as a defensive reaction is understandable, as a customer, I find such a mocking and dismissive response unpleasant and it completely ignores my...

From the moment I stepped into Izzi Rooftop, I was captivated by the ambiance—sophisticated yet welcoming, with soft lighting and a panoramic view of the city that’s absolutely breathtaking at sunset.
I ordered the salmon steak for dinner, and it was nothing short of exquisite. The skin was seared to a perfect crisp, while the inside remained tender and juicy. It was served with a delicate lemon butter sauce and seasonal vegetables that complemented the dish beautifully. The balance of flavors and presentation showed real attention to detail.
The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and warm. The staff made sure everything was taken care of without being intrusive.
If you’re looking for a place in town that combines fine dining with a stunning rooftop atmosphere, Izzi Rooftop is a must-visit. It’s ideal for romantic dinners, celebrations, or simply treating yourself to a luxurious meal.
