Jaring Kitchen & Drinks — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

From far, the best restaurant experience in overall... Let the busy street of Lovina for others and give a try to Jaring Kitchen which is really nearby and a gem!

First, the staff is super nice and the owner must have a lot of experience from abroad, everything is well thought up to the little details 👍👍 the service is spot on, they know their menu items and the open kitchen allow you to thanks the team on your way out 😎 The location is great. Not surrounded by a busy street so you can eat quietly in the middle of the nature.

The food was excellent. We ate there twice and are planning to come back 😍 The kung fu panda dumplings are delicious and a must try 😋 We also tried the whole chicken (steamed) called ayam betutu. To be order 1 day in advance. What a delicious meal we had 😍🐓, the spicies and stuffing was really tasty and it comes with sambal and cassava leaves, 4 lilit plus 1 portion of rice each.

We had a long discussion with the owner, Putu, who is a great person and is running THE perfect restaurant in Lovina 🙏. Congrats to you and your wife for the funny names on the menu, the attention to details and the great food you offer, we loved it 😍 Your team should also be congratulated 🙏

Keep the good work and we wish you that business comes back to pre-covid and tourists are back to indulge in your restaurant 🙏 If we could give 1 advice... many many people are smoking in Bali but very little restaurants are non-smoking. I hate the smell and really not nice when non-smoking people are literally polluted by smokers!

A nice restaurant in a quiet location, a little off the beaten track. Beautiful ambience, pleasant lighting, tastefully furnished and lovingly decorated. The music selection is also very well selected and unobtrusive. From Latin to Lounge... simply perfect! A restaurant that invites you to linger longer. Now for the food: The Mahi Mahi was not seasoned enough for my taste and was also a little bit dry or overcooked. I noticed during several restaurant visits in Bali that people here tend to cook meat and fish for a little too long for my taste. Maybe that's just the way it is.... Otherwise the dish was attractively presented. My wife had the dumplings. These were very excellent! The cocktails are also lovingly prepared. However, they save on the alcohol here. They are definitely too weak. But at these prices you turn a blind eye. 😉 Nevertheless, this restaurant is definitely...

Great healthy food and good atmosphere. But:

Me and 2 of my friends ordered some food from the restaurant, and one of my friends got a bad case of Bali belly just 5 hours later (it was definitely this restaurant since he hadn't eaten anything since then). 8 tests for different strands of salmonella, all positive. Had to pay $400 for treatment.

We thought "maybe it was just bad luck, let's give this place another chance". We ordered 2 omelettes with mushrooms, and inside one of the omlettes we found this piece of metal. Also very unhygienic and could've easily pierced through my friend's throat.

Never ordering from this place again. That's a shame, since if it wasn't for the terrible hygiene problems, this would be a great place to eat out or...
