Warung Ayu Lovina Beach — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Very rude personnel! Never visit them! We were parking to see their menu, it is only 2 minutes passed, and they come complaining and made hysterics that we use car parking for 30 minutes for free parking, which was not true and all people around were able to confirm that we stayed only 2 minutes. We tried to explain everything in a very friendly way, but in the end, they just hit a car and continued repeating strange hysterics!

In general, it is very pitiful to see that kind of approach, when you like Bali a lot, like people here a lot, and try to be very helpful to locals, but sometimes you meet such kind of not smart and not pleasant people who even do not respect tourists or expats, but when you enter their restaurant they smile and welcome you, having their bad approach in the mind!

Hope this will be the first and last time I meet such kind of rude local people, as they are not like that, they are amazing in general!

Also, the funny thing is when they were rude to me, they probably even did not imagine that it was Local Guide who was just checking their restaurant and in the end, they got the feedback which they were worth!) All is fair! Adding +1 rating as I see people like...

I would give negative rating if I could. Have been to Bali so many times & tonight's meal was the worst ever PLUS we had to wait an hour for it - veg spring rolls!! We also ordered mains & wished we hadn't, not just because of further wait. Partner ordered grilled squid. It came with 12 chips (tasteless), a piece of cucumber & tomato plus beans & carrots. Squid was chewy & tasteless, he didn't eat it all. There was a sauce which looked like lemon but it too was tasteless. On the flip side, I ordered babi kecap & the sce was overpowering. Pork was dry & I cld only eat half as it was so poor. Service was atrocious. Five wait staff & owner/manager - what were they doing? I went next door to mini mart & bought two cokes as it was quicker (they then tried to charge). I ordered a pineapple juice - never saw it. Worst experience this trip, worst experience...

Food was alright. Tried their balinese cuisine of Mee Goreng and pepes ayam lilit. The taste was pretty good. It comes with rice and koropok.

Decent meal and the atmosphere was what you would expect from an restraunt close to the beach.

The stray dogs and cats coming into the shop is pretty nice and gives off a very "Kampong" kinda of vibes.

But because there was a big delivery order in front of us. We ended up waiting for quite a long period. Which got the mood slightly down. Lastly, even though we mentioned about our Beansprouts allergy, Beansprouts was still seen on the vegetables presented with the rice which was dissapointing.
