Bellywise — Restaurant in Semarang

Looking for smoke beef, i found this resto. Located at Jl. Wonodri Krajan 3, next to Indomaret. The ambiance was quite dim from outside, so if you are not look at it accurately, u will skip it. They serve many kind of beef food, like steak, burger, smoke beef, also pasta, rice and salad. I ordered Single Platter, contains of 100gr Smoke beef, 3 pieces of wings, mac n cheese, chips, Bbq sauce, salad and pickled onion and Ice tea.

Smoke beef - 4/5 - tender, juicy and smoky, but need more salty a bit. Wings - 3.5/5 - the sauce was okay, again the chicken bit tasteless i couldn't taste the saltiness (only sweet sour from the sauce). And the chicken was cold. It was fried before and just coated the sauce (not ready to fry) Mac n Cheese 3.5/5 - again need to put a pinch of salt in order to taste the food, it was tasteless. Salad - 4/5 - it was chopped cabbage and carrot with mayo (?) sauce, taste good and fresh. BBQ Sauce - 4/5 - The sauce helped a lot haha. It tasted sour, sweet and smoky, good combination with the beef.

It costed Rp112.000 for Single Platter and Ice tea. Payment by card/debit or any kind of digital...

I recently dined at Bellywise and was highly impressed by both the delicious food and the superb service. The menu featured a variety of unique western cuisine that combined robust flavors with stunning presentations. I like how they used a digital menu so that we could easily scan the barcode and select a meal using our phones. Worry less, they also provide full explanations of each menu and allow us to pay for everything after we’re finished (closed bill system).

We ordered a double platter (for 2 people). The portion served is quite filling. I was impressed with the brisket served. Maybe after this, I will have high standards if I order a similar menu elsewhere.

At first I saw this place, it looked like a haunted house. Hahaha.. Because it's not so bright at night and it looked narrow from the outside. But my hubby insisted to dine in here. He said it has the best burger in town. Hmmm... After I tried the burger myself, well, it indeed tastes better. I thought I wouldn't get full with the burgers we ordered. It turned out that we almost couldn't finish them. Well, the prices may not be cheap, but they deserve the taste. Talking about this restaurant, it has non-smoking and smoking rooms. You can choose according to your need. It provides sink, toilet, and praying room. If you want to order, you can firstly scan the barcode on the table you choose with your smartphone. You will see the menu there. Just tell your order to the waiter and wait for your food to come....
