A trip back in time as soon as you enter this restaurant. It is always well visited and presents itself definately as a charming colonial dutch style place. The food is wonderfull and well portioned. The pork dishes are mouthwatering. The homemade icecream is off a different class altogether. Forget Häägen-Dazs, Baskin Robin, Cold Stone ... etc . Overpriced, imported and mass produced industrial made ice creams. Most famous is their " Tutti Frutti " but this time I tried their " Vruchten Sorbet " and it was delicious. Coming back to visit the place ia always pleasant, the staff is friendly and the service is fast. I wish the owners would give the interior a new white wash. Since I came late night, the ice cream flavours already ran out. There were only 4 or 5 flavours remaining. I ordered two of them which are dark chocolate and strawberry creamcheese. Both are good. If you come in the morning or at noon you may taste all the flavours. The place is quite comfortable and cozy. There are clean toilets and prayer room. Spotlessly clean and not too crowded, so it's a recommended place during this dreadful pandemic to have a cuppa coffee or even your lunch or dinner. All staff are friendly and fast to respond to your request. Their cakes are nice as they are soft and not too sweet. Love the ambience. However, do mind about car parking.
