Place is cozy with a vintage old style of semarang city vibe. Located very close to one semarang landmark, Gereja Blenduk, this place is quite popular because its one of the oldest goat ( yes , goat , not lamb , not sheep ) meat skewer and sumsum ( bone ) soup restaurant.

The price is very expensive you should rethink of filling your wallet first before coming or instead your wallet will explode. ( around 5 USD / 6-7 SGD for a portion of Gule , and 7 USD / 8-9 SGD for a portion of satay , 10 sticks per portion )

Taste is very mediocore , some of street food which serves the same type of food even sometimes tastes better ( here , the taste is so plain that you should give sweet soy sauce first to the foods. ) The waiter and waitress are friendly and helpful.

Saw the 4.4 average review and was confused by the amount of conflicting reviews - good and bad. Daughter wanted to try so we came. Place had zero customer when we arrived at 5pm. Food arrived within five minutes. Sate buntel had a tough skin and was not hot. Suspected it was precooked and reheated for less than a minute. Meat was drenched in sweet soy sauce and was overly cooked. Not tender for sure. Gule soup was bland and not even warm. Same exact soup for the trotter dish and not warm as well. Ambience was so so. A review mentioned great view. I beg to differ when you look out of the place and see cars and bikes rushing by. The bill came up to 220000 IDR for three dishes without drinks.
