This place is huge, beautifully crafted and having white sands as the floor = superb idea. No air-con but there are plenty of fans, so the air circulation is very good. Warm and just nice. You will feel like you are really in the beach!

Very busy especially on weekend. Forget about lunch or dinner time, people come as if every hour is meal time. High turn over, people come and go pretty quickly. Long queue and fast entry. Good business!

Your table number is a QR code posted to your table, unique! The QR code is also your menu and food & beverage order. Love it or hate it, depends on your preference.

Once finished to make up you mind, confirm using your phone. As easy as that, you can even see your bill. There is a note: once ordered it can never be cancelled.

The servers were very fast and efficient. Friendly and full of smiles. Loved them.

We tried mix mushroom pasta, white truffle pasta, nasi ayam betutu and chicken Maryland. All pizza was sold out, it was around 1400. Probably very good!

Both pasta are cream base: they are thick and superb! The portion was fairly small, just right. The price is also fairly affordable, so order two if you really want to be full.

Nasi ayam betutu is superb. The lime leaves and spices are strongly sensed in every bite. Amazing!

The drinks are OK, young coconut is very "beach", while the non alcoholic cocktails are pretty good.

The flies! They are flying around while we eat. :-( One was swimming in my daughter's yuzu ice tea. The restaurant replaced the drink - much appreciated. But the flies should be zero.

Chicken Maryland - it took 1 hour and it never came. Even after all the dishes were finished. And after I complained the server responded: in the process, and I need to wait. After 1 hour?

Come on, I know Chicken Maryland, I also cooked this dish. It is not a rocket science and should not be that long.

So, I lost my appetite, cancelled that chicken dish and left (after paying of course). Don't lose your payment receipt, or the security will hold you for cross check first.

Price: fairly affordable.

Overall: Hey Beach! is a very nice restaurant. Abundant spaces for picture taking with your loved ones. A solid concept.

Flies problem is a huge NO. It's a no-brainer.

Great food and fair price. Alas, failing in delivering ordered food means unable to fulfill the basic function of a restaurant.

So two stars: one for the friendly staffs and another one for the establishment.

Will I come back again? Let's just say, it would be too soon to...

If you came here at day, I think you will feel the beach vibe more rather than at night. Really crowded at weekend, luckily I only need to wait for about 15min. Quite spacious, they have 2 floors and a lot of photo spots. They have a system where you look at the menus and ordered it by phone. The menu are not that varied, and when I came a lot of menus are sold out, including the platter🙃. So I ordered: Signature Crispy Duck (78k). It was so tender, big, and seasoned enough. The rice also smell good. You will got 2 different sambal, but for me their matah tasted better. Chicken Maryland (55k). Just like usual chicken maryland, it was deep fried, and has a really crunchy texture. Minus point is I have to waited for over then 20min, when the waiter said that food will come maximum at 15min. White Truffle Carbonara Salmon (88k). Out of all menu that we order, this pasta has the smallest portion, and I personally think that it was a lil' bit salty. Same as chicken maryland, this one also took over than 20min, and when it came its not even warm... Hawaiian Chicken Burger (68k). Exceed my expectations, the bun itself tasted good, and also big. Inside of the burger, there's cheese, pineapple, pickles, etc, which make the burger portion so big. They also gave you french fries. Overall I really like this one. Hawaiian Chicken Steak (55k). Kind of same with chicken maryland, the difference is just this one is grilled while maryland is deep fried.

Next we also ordered some drinks, I will list it from my best to least favorite: Pineapple Dream (78k). The size is bigger in real life, the inside is pineapple juice, tasted really good, fresh, sweet and sour, really recommend this one. Fresh Coconut (38k). Just like usual coconut, refreshing, the difference is this coconut have a stamp saying Hey Beach. Sun Seeker (55k). If you like sweet and sour drink, then you need to try this one too. Plus the glass is really cute and creative. Kiwi Yakult (35k). Doesn't taste that good for me, but I saw a lot of people ordered this, so maybe gonna try different flavor next time. Ice Brown Sugar Coffee Coffee (38k). I personally think this tasted better than kiwi yakult, but the reason I rank this as the last is because I don't think this kind lf drink really suit beach vibe. Don't understand why my brother gotta order this... It has a hint of coffee, so maybe if you are curious but can't drink coffee, you can...

Second, nachos are convenient foods, you can eat nachos everywhere for a quick bite during lunch break or as to-go consumption, like when you can eat in the car to go somewhere. Finally, nachos can become more than a simple dish by making it into a new menu. Like making it into casseroles, salads, and added other delicious twists to the dish.
