The café is located in a residential area behind the main road of Manyar Kertoarjo. If you're not familiar with the area and happen to pass by, you might not even notice that it's a café — it just looks like a regular house from the outside. There’s no signage, nor any other visible indicator that it’s a café.. it can be quite difficult to find if you’re not using Google Maps. Additionally, there is no parking space available; you have to park at the end of the alley or in the field next to it, which could be troublesome on rainy days.
The café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though about 80% of the space is outdoors. The indoor area is quite limited, with only four tables, each with two chairs (including one table at the counter). So, if you’re coming with a large group of friends, you’ll likely need to sit outside.
For those who can’t drink coffee or are simply looking for non-coffee options, they are only 2 options for you: matcha latte or mineral water 🙄
The food menu is also fairly limited, with only four main dishes and two snacks. However, they do offer a dessert menu: kakigori, with two flavor options to choose from.
I had the Tanoshi Kohi.. it was good, and quite strong. The kakigori was okay for me..
The concept is well-executed, and they definitely give off a Japanese vibe… But I hope they can improve the parking situation and expand their...
Read moreVery quaint japanese-themed coffee shops. Great for get together and meetup with friends or colleagues. Though menu is limited, the coffee are smooth and taste great.
Menu consists of mainly coffee, tea, some hot menu with some desserts and finger foods. I came with my wife, and I wish they updated their menu book since the desserts are added recently so they aren't in the menu yet and they didn't inform us until after we paid for our order since my wife would like to try the dessert.
The place is very comfortable and quiet. We came around 3pm and the atmosphere was just perfect. We only hear the rustling of the leaves and some other party quietly chatting in the distance, which makes the perfect atmosphere to just sit and unwind. Though AC seating are limited, the non-AC seating are pretty accomodating and not hot at all, with decent wind blowing by which is very pleasant.
I highly recommend this place just for the atmosphere alone. Some more hot menu would be great, but right now it's more...
Read morei like this cafe's aesthetics. they have outdoor and indoor seatings. their menu is nostly only coffee. if you're trying to get some snacks, unfortunately, they don't have much. there were only 4 actual dishes, 2 menu of small bites, but they were sold out, so we were left with only 1 option.
i like their idea and concept for the cafe. it's very much japanese coded. they have a cute chalkboard of No Face from Spirited Away anime. coffee was alright. if you're hungry and want to go to a cafe, i wouldn't suggest you go here because they don't have many options for the food.
we ordered 3 coffees, and 1 small bites. they were just okay.
parking is kind of far from the cafe. it was hard to locate/find the cafe because there was no sign/indication of the cafe. it camouflage with other houses beside it.
overall, it was just ok for me. i wish they had more options with their small bites menu and...
