Edamame Japanese Restaurant - Grand City Mall — Restaurant in Surabaya

WORSTT BAD SERVICE EVER!! I JUST went there wanting to have dinner. The are no one, but the waiters sitting in on of the table. The waiter knows we’re coming but they just ignored us, and i heard one of the waiter sigh ing. After we called them they look very ‘annoyed’ and told us that few of the food for teppanyaki are sold. We ask him what are sold and he answered us by raising his voice. Which isnt polite at all. So we decided to not eat there. He just told us that before the resto was crowded thats why it is all sold but he could’ve told is politely instead it wasnt a warm welcome at all. Tolong service nya yang sopan dikit ya jangan...

5 stars for this place! Every time my boyfriend is in town, he always asks to dine in this place. They moved to bigger place but sadly they only have 2 tables for teppanyaki (cmiw) so I think you should book first to avoid waiting list. The rib eye teppanyaki set is to die for! The chef said 1 set is actually for 2 pax but I always starve myself before I go here so I can eat 1 set all for myself. I hope this place will open its branch somewhere in East Surabaya so it'll be closer...

The food I had was fine, but ocha was a bit bitter. Bento menu is nice, quite a portion, and pretty muh satisfying. Haven't tried its teppanyaki yet. Place is average sized, but with enough seating, usually quiet and has nice ambience. Fine attendant...
