Oh La Vita Restaurant — Restaurant in Surakarta

I describe this restaurant as THE CHEAPEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN THE TOWN! 🍕

Oh wait, don't expect that you'll get a fancy fine dining atmosphere while a waitress asking do you want your steak to be cooked rare, medium rare, or well done. That's not gonna happen. Yes, this restaurant is serving popular Italian cuisines—and western food also—with Indonesian locality. You can get pasta, pizza, BBQ & steak, roasted chicken, or fish & chips. They also have salad, mashed potato, and even creamy spinach!

I ordered: Australian Pizza ±30K++ Chicken Cordon Bleu ±35K++ BBQ Steak and Sausage ±35K++

Sorry, I completely forgot the prices. But most of the foods are under 50K, super cheap, right? For the steak, you can also choose between mashed potato or french fries.

They did good at: Food taste, Italian yet so Indonesian hahaha, overall it's good! Veryyy affordable price for big plate Really quick serving Wide range of foods, you'll take some time to decide what are you going to eat I LOVE THEIR MASHED POTATO 😭

Things that could be improved on: The steak is always overcooked, please do me a favor with this one :) The restaurant is clean, but maybe in the upcoming years they should consider a bit renovation to make it looks more proper

Big BBQ Steak: Meat 4/10 (it's just a thin slice of a meat, even though we ordered a BIG one) Sauce 7/10 (ok, just little bit sweeter in our tongue) Condiments 6/10 (standard canned vegetables) Mashed potato 8/10 (it's good!)

Texas Ribs: Meat 2/10 (they boiled it first till the meat almost destroyed and there is no hints of meaty taste) Sauce 7/10 Condiments 6/10 Mashed potato 8/10

Food & beverages overall tasted great and worth the price! The service is also quite fast. We ordered chicken cream soup, onion rings and bbq wings, italian beef steak (accompanied with pasta, bolognaise sauce and organic salad. Yum!!), spicy cheese beef steak (accompanied with onion rings, french fries and corn salad. Also yum, rare taste!!), last but not least hot lemon tea for the drinks (refreshing and calming).

Will come back for the pizza and more pasta & steak!

The downside is only the pathetic toilet. The restaurant owner may need to improve the facilities and cleanliness to decent level. The room was dark...
