There's a decent selection of options for building your breakfast. Sometimes something might be out of stock, but it's understandable since we're on a small island.
Pros: Spacious, bright hall in Bali style. Decent coffee (but the choice of utensils for coffee, like bent straws and rocks glasses, is torture). Fresh ingredients.
Cons: Gender discrimination. If you're a woman dining alone, a waiter will never approach you. You'll sit and wait until you age. If you're in a couple or a man, you're guaranteed service. I've experienced this myself, seen as other solo ladies been ignored, and seen not once how couples are immediately attended to. If you're a solo woman - be ready, you're ignored. Go get your own menu and order at the counter. Something from your plate might be not served (forgot to add). Mine missed 3 positions due my first visit (avo, butter, jam). No WiFi. Sometimes add-ones are missing (as falafel, potato etc). Ridiculously small croisants for price. No hook for a bag in the restroom. You might left hungry even after 5 positons on your board (as I...
Read moreUnfortunately my time here was not good. The waitress taking the order seemed very rushed and unfriendly (it was a bit busy so didn’t think much of it). I ordered a French baguette, beans with Parmesan and granola. Another server came and sent my food down and left very quickly without saying anything. My food order was not only wrong but missing a whole item. I called over someone who then informed me they didn’t have any beans and they didn’t have the baguette. I asked why no one told me when I ordered and he just said I’ll go and get your bread. They did in fact have the French baguette. My order would have been different had I been informed of what they didn’t have by the waitress who took my order.
The food (of what I was able to try) was fine. I think there are better options on the island with better food and much better service. I wouldn’t recommend and I wound...
Read moreOverall, very disappointed with our visit here, from start to finished, the service really let this place down, we were here for breakfast, and it was build your own style, which I would’ve thought would lead to 0 complications. Firstly, they brought out smoke salmon instead of Nasi Goreng, also forgetting to bring jam or butter and never put hazelnut syrup in one our iced coffee. It was difficult to grab the attention of any of the staff to express our concerns, only after a tried time of asking we finally got the jam. This place is located on the main road through the island and would recommend going off the beaten track a little bit to find much better food options with high level of service. The quality of the food also did not match the price, for the price you pay I would’ve expected either larger portions or...
