Basilico Authentic Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

We were going to Lombok airport and stopped in senggigi beach because a local person recommend it to us.

We saw two menus, one of a warung it is near this restaurant and another from it. We ordered dishes from the warung, one pizza and a big water. Because we ordered two dishes from the warung we couldn't sit inside the restaurant... but we ordered a pizza too! So we had to move to the outside zone. It was okey but it seems the inside zone that have fans and a rooftop can only be used for people that spend more money.

The last thing is that the big water was 25.000rp. Maybe the most expensive water in indonesia?

The food is good and the pizza too! But we didn't like this type of price discrimination (it was in front of a great resort... maybe it is...

Not to recommend at all, service is extremely slow and the stuff is completely uninterested for guests. The "welcome drink" with that hotel voucher is a poor disaster, 2 dcl of some orange "juice" bought probably in some store for few rupiahs ... very disappointing. Better no welcome drink as such a welcome drink. Also waited 15 minutes to get it, and for one simple cappuccino needed to wait 20 extra minutes!!! By heavy rain as yesterday, half of the guests got wet and the stuff didn't showed any interests to help the guests to move their things. Bad service, 0...

First night in lombok, decided to try this place as it looked really nice. Both my partner and I ordered pizzas which looked like they were from the frozen isle in Coles. When we asked we were told the pizzas were not wood fired, which defeats the purpose of being an “authentic” Italian restaurant. Anyway - we decided to give it a go. I physically could not eat my pizza, the base sauce was horrendous. My partner tried to eat his and found a cooked long black hair in the cheese which he had to pull out.
