Who says nothing in life is free? At Circuit Sports Bar in Kueta, my daughter Sarah and I discovered that sometimes the best surprises come at no cost at all. Looking to shoot some pool, we walked into this lively local bar scene and racked up 12 games, fully expecting a bill at the end. To our amazement, when it came time to settle up, we discovered the pool tables are completely free!
The place has a genuine bar atmosphere with some welcome practical touches - plenty of outlets scattered around if you need to charge up (which came in handy for my drone). While we didn't order any drinks this time around, the generous pool policy makes this spot stand out from the crowd.
Walking out without paying a dime for a solid evening of pool with my daughter was a pleasant surprise that definitely earned Circuit Sports Bar a spot on our return visit list. Sometimes you find the best value in the most unexpected places - and at Circuit Sports Bar, they prove that some things in life really are free.
P.S. - Not only was the pool free, I actually walked out ahead! The friendly Indonesian pool attendant took me up on a friendly 50,000 wager. One ridiculous bank shot combo later (if I do say so myself), and I was heading home with an unexpected bonus. Talk about a profitable evening...
Read moreThe Circuit is the best sports bar and grill in Lombok! My friend and I travelled all the way from Uluwatu and took the scooter across to Kuta Lombok. We had been commuting for hours and finally arrived but very late. The first opened venue we found was the Circuit! Faizar, who works the floor, was very quick to welcome us with great energy and service. The boss, Adam, is a humble guy who has such attention to detail when it comes to making the customer feel like they’re at home. We’ve been watching the AFL and the CT most days but when the sport isn’t on we challenge all the backpackers and staff to some pool. Adam is a master so if you want a challenge be sure to play him. Thanks to the Circuit team for making our time in...
Read moreThe staff were the friendliest and funniest in town, and it wasn't long before I would be going to Circuit just to hang out with them. They play guitar and drums so I would often have a jam session and a beer with them to pass the afternoon. They also have live music every week, which was nice and laid back and even invited me to sing sometimes. They are often pretty quiet, which makes it a good place to go and play some pool upstairs. It only really gets busy when they have sports on, since it's a great place to watch, it has multiple tellies. Would definitely recommend this place to sit down...
