A group of 5 went to eat here and was awful, 3 out 5 were ill the next day and the waiter also slyed a 100,000 out of us on the bill.

Totally over priced as it is, the waiter then said we underpaid by 100,000 which we hadn't. He wouldn't let me count the money again and in the end one of us eventually gave him 100,000 to save the aggro.

I got bruschetta with cheese for starters, this was really oily although a good size (5 slices), I couldnt finish so I gave the cheese to a cat who wouldn't even eat it. My dad got Thai Tom Yum soup, which was awful. I'm not sure what it was, but it wasn't any Tom Yum I've ever tried (we have had Tom Yum lots of times from different places). My dad then said it came straight out after 20 minutes of eating it (sorry for being crude).

We both had Thai chicken curry, I didn't eat mine. Was tasteless and very very creamy (I fed it to a cat who seemed to love it!)

My two other friends both got pizza's which said was Ok but managed to get away with a dodgy stomach. The other person, got a seafood platter, big portion but I would say overpriced. I saw the cats licking the sides of which seafood was prepped and cooked on afterwards, this could explain the dodgy stomaches as the Tom Yum had seafood in it.

As we went to pay, I counted the money out and we had even left a large tip due to there being many of us with just 100,000 notes. As we went to leave the waiter said we were under, I had counted the money many times and when he counted it I'm pretty sure he slyed a 100,000 note and demanded us to pay up extra. I went to take the money from his hand to recount but he would not let me take it, one of my friends threw him what he demanded as couldn't be arsed with the arguments thus I didn't argue over 100,000.

Despite this, the waiter, Pandwa I believe his name was, was very funny taking the piss out his customers which us English dont mind..

Do not come here to eat, you will more than likely get a dodgy stomach if you touch the seafood. The other food was tasteless...

I would very rarely give a bad review in some Places I would just not give a review at all. The whole time spent on Gili T these guys seem desperate every time you walk past to get you into their restaurant whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My other half was persuaded with a menu waved into his face last night and we agreed we’d give it a try.

Food was very average in all honestly we have had way better on the island. I had a chicken kebab with rice and my partner the ego burger. The cocktails were half price I went for a strawberry daiquiri which was full of water and had no taste.

The final straw for me was the end of the meal asking for the bill. The meal came to around 466k we put 500k in the wallet slip and handed to the waiter. The guy counted the money and in fairness anywhere else we would have told them with our mouth when handing the bill back “keep the change” However in this case we did not think this was worth it. He then had the cheek to say “everything okay yeah” we assumed he meant with the food so we just agreed and nodded our heads. He then went to say “ahh thanks, thanks for good tip” and walked off without giving us our change. I was livid at this point as this is not good customer service and can easily make people feel awkward or confused with this bad tactic..

I get that 55k means a lot to them then it does us but we only give tips when it’s worth it and good service is given I would avoid this place.

We were fooled by the number of people there, thinking the place would be good, as the place was full. I was attracted by the smoking grill in front of the restaurant but I am afraid that was false advertising. We had an expensive ($38) and disgusting seafood platter (my picture is from the beginning of the meal). I suspect our shrimp were cooked a while ago and reheated as they were cold inside and weren't charred. It was a horrible dinner experience: the fish still had scales on and were not properly cleaned, the fish head was served as a decoration but was still raw inside, and the shrimp were not properly cleaned (with intestines and feces still in), showing how poor the hygiene was. The food was tasteless. Oh, and do not count on the buffet: there's only cabbage and tomatoes there. I waited 30 minutes for the fried rice to be put out and it was the worst fried rice I have ever had in my life. Service is also chaotic and poor: it is every diner for themselves. The manager is obviously greedy because they value taking money from as many customers as possible rather than providing good customer service.
