Jofan warung — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

I tried visiting this place based on the reviews, but I really don't understand them because the owner is arrogant and rude. I politely asked if I could sit under the umbrella and have a beer before ordering food, as I planned to spend the day eating and drinking there. He said I had to eat at the table first and could only use the umbrella after consuming the food(didn’t make any sense cause the beer is more expensive than the food), anyway, I just wanted to relax a bit and have a drink first. Spent an afternoon here. Paid for two beds and food/drinks. We had to take our own plates back from our sun beds as staff were too busy sleeping/chatting.

Returned the next day, got two beds and booked the kids some surfing lessons next door at aquia surf. We were then told we couldn't stay in the beds and needed to move, even though I explained we would still be ordering our food for the day from them. Whilst we hadn't paid for the beds that day, it seems pointless to charge for beds, then expect your customers to only use your services for food and surf lessons, if that's the case, then don't charge for beds!

Don't bother with this place, the other warungs are a lot...

A nice family managing a restaurant and surf school. The food was amazing with a good quantity, the coffee was really good and all the workers were always pleasant to help you. The board was in perfect condition . They even fix us a problem without charging us, totally different from other warungs around.

I really recommend this place compared with the others that are always trying to catch you as if you were an animal or something like that. They are just in their place without bothering anyone when you arrive...
