I came to Laut Biru quite often since 2018, especially during pandemic.
I am a fan of their beach view location, f&b & staffs were super friendly. Everything is 5stars to be honest!
I was there today at 4PM, specifically ask for the table in front of the beach. The waitress politely said the table has been booked at 4PM for other guest. I am okay with that so I looked for another table.
An hour later, the table was still empty. I checked with the staff, they said the guest has arrived but dont want to sit on the table i was asking because the table is under the sun and its too hot for them.
90mins later before I left, the table remains empty, no one was sitting there.
It’s just dont make any sense on how they can keep the table theyre not even sitting, from 0400-0530PM just to make sure the table is empty for the whole 90mins.
We couldve had the table that barely touched by other guest, rather than being seated by no one for 1.5 hours. The table couldve earned :)
Other than that, im still in love...
Read moreThe best place we had drinks and food at in Lombok hands down and the only place we revisited due to the service and the food. The first visit we only had a few drinks and snacks & they gave us thr wrong bill by mistake. Once they realised they overcharged us the waiter chased us down as we were about to leave and refunded us the difference.
On our second visit we got to experience a glorious sunset. The indonesian fish dishes we tried were excellent and the cocktails were value for money. Just one word of warning, if you're parking your bike at the entrance to the beach, the shops there shut by 8.30 ish, so make sure you grab your bike before they shut shop and leave.
Definitely recommend visiting here. Just remember to bring insect repellent to keep the mosquitoes away if sitting outside. We sat in the semi enclosed patio and we're not affected.
Decent selection of beer...
Read moreGreat sunset around 18:00 and the sky turns to red about 15-25min after the set. Had a dip, dried ourselves and walked to the restaurant. There are nice outdoor tables on the sand and tables are lit at night with some lanterns all around. Insect repellent was provided at night. The food was very good and their selection is quite wide. Dinner with drinks and desserts for four is around 125 aus dollars. Great deals with the stunning view. Parking for cars is plenty and free. We once parked in the public space where we paid a guy like 10,000 which is expected in Lombok but these people don’t really work there. It took me a while to get used to. If you are riding a scooter or a moped, wear a helmet cause the locals ride crazily! If you are more than two or three, renting a car is so much better. The petrol is about...
