Mango Rooftop — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

What a beautiful spot. Mango Lodge Rooftop restaurant does not just cater to its hotel guests but also offers lunch and dinner to outside guests. They have a great menu ranging from Spanish tapas, burgers, salads, snacks and favourite local options. Our favourites were the greek and couscous salat, patatas bravas and croquettas. They also have a nice selection of cocktails. The views are also very nice for a sunset. There are some seats with power outlets available if you need to get some work done. The coffees are also amazing. We will be sure to come back during our next visit to Lombok.

Hot tip: We were lucky enough to be here during a special Paella & Tapas evening which the Spanish owner organises in regular intervals. We were staying at Selong Belanak and wanted to eat out for our last night. The place we initially wanted to go to was closed already, and we gave Mango Rooftop a call to see if they were open, and they were open. So we headed there and we were the only guests. I must say i did not have high expectations, not because of the place, but because of the quiet condition. I would totally understand if they served below average quality kind of food. We liked our experience at Mango Tree, however, due to being a large group of 12 we felt they were understaffed to deal with a group of this size and accomodate many different orders, despite the staff doing their best! In saying that, while it was not the best meal we had on our trip, the food was nice. We had a variety of tapas - the highlight was the meatballs which were unconventional but super delicious and the eggplant dish was also really good!
