I had a truly delightful experience at Lazy Coconut. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — a perfect blend of relaxed island vibes and cozy charm, ideal for both casual meals and catching up with friends.

The menu had plenty of tempting choices, but the highlight was definitely the Ayam Taliwang for me. Perfectly grilled and bursting with bold, authentic flavors, it was both spicy and savory in just the right balance. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the kitchen puts real care into every dish.

What truly elevated the entire experience was the outstanding service. A special shoutout to Momo, who was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. Momo’s attentive and thoughtful service made us feel right at home, offering great recommendations and making sure everything was just right without ever being intrusive.

I had no expectations from this fantastic beach front restaurant. We (my Scottish mate and I) walked past it and saw the simple facade with little more to ask than some good tacos. Servers (Momo and Dedat) were chatty and fun and had good recommendations. We ate the chicken wings (good), beef rendang tacos (genius), nasi goreng (sublime) and bruschetta (more than good). Cocktails were delicious and cold, beers were easy to get hold of and the location is just perfect. The chefs served up a better meal than I have had in many an establishment with a much higher opinion of itself. Lazy coconut is fun, delicious, cool and 98% perfect. The only thing to improve would be if they offered a deep fried banana with ice cream and sticky Caramel sauce for dessert, it’s all that lacks in this glorious establishment....
