Invited in by a boy with the biggest smile! How could we say no! Staying nearby it was raining so we decided to give it a go, unsure what to eat we spoke to the boy and asked him for something that wasn't on the menu Crispy tempeh and fried noodles without egg and fried rice without egg... In una delle tranquille stradine interne di Gili Trawangan, lontano dal trambusto turistico, si trova il New Gili Frame Resto & Bar. Questo locale semplice ma accogliente offre un’esperienza culinaria autentica, con piatti deliziosi e un servizio cordiale. Ci siamo andati per cena e abbiamo assaggiato il chicken satay, teneri spiedini di pollo accompagnati da una salsa di arachidi ricca e saporita; il chicken karaage, croccante e succulento; le french fries, dorate e croccanti; e il nasi goreng ala Gili Frame, un riso fritto aromatico con un perfetto equilibrio di spezie locali. I due giovani che ci hanno servito sono stati estremamente gentili e disponibili, creando un’atmosfera familiare che ha reso la cena ancora più piacevole. Il servizio è stato rapido e attento, nonostante la semplicità del locale. Con piatti principali che costano tra i 3 e i 4 euro, il New Gili Frame Resto & Bar offre un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccezionale. È il luogo ideale per chi desidera gustare la vera cucina locale senza spendere una fortuna. Non mancano nel menù anche burritos, pizze, tacos, burgers, pasta ecc ma non mi lancerei mentre raccomando fortemente la cucina locale. Se ti trovi a Gili Trawangan e cerchi un’esperienza culinaria autentica, lontano dai percorsi più battuti, ti consiglio vivamente di visitare...

The food here is excellent! The Nasi Goreng was one of the best I’ve had, super flavorful and a big portion. The chicken satay was really tasty too. The staff make the place even better, everyone was super friendly, and even the chef came over to chat with each table, which was a nice touch. The setting is really cute as well, with fairy lights and trees that give it a cozy, relaxed vibe. Definitely worth...
